In the cut scene with the medieval school lesson, the answer to the problem that the girl answers for the class is actually the quadratic equation.
When Peter and Lois are about to have sex, the candles on the dresser alternate between being held up by holders and standing up by themselves.
When Peter is singing on the table at Meg's high school, his head suddenly shrinks all through the scene.
Peter: You don't remember what it's like to be my age!
Lois: I'm two years younger than you!
Peter: You'll get chills all through your body
And you'll lose all control
Of your bladder and your sphincter
That's your butt hole
Cause if you use toad
Then I'm telling you
You can kiss your life goodbye
Yeah, when you use toad
It'll mess you up
It'll make your mama cry, that's no lie
You'll choke on your tongue and die
Gotta give it up
Students: Give up the toad now
Peter: It's no joke, buddy
Gotta give it up
Students: Gotta give up the toad now
Peter: Or you'll croak, buddy
Gotta give it up
Students: Gotta give up the toad now
Peter: And don't smoke or you'll see
It hurts to pee
There'll be blood gushing from you
Every time that you cough
And forget getting lucky
It falls off
You better wise up
Cause I'm telling you
Toad is what Lando forbids
Gotta give it all up
Or you're gonna see
Your whole life will hit the skids
And your kids will be born without eyelids
Gotta give it up
Students: Give up the toad now
Thanks to you, Lando
Give it up
Brian: Give up the toad now
Students: Thanks to you, Lando
Peter: Give it up
Students: Gotta give up the toad now
Peter: I'm no fool, Lando's cool
All: Yeah!
Peter: Thanks, Spider-Man!
Spider-Man: Everybody gets one.
Peter: Greg Allman, what did you do when life got you down?
Greg Allman: (emerging from a poster) Me? I did a lot of drugs, married some broad named Cher. I wouldn't reccommend either.
Peter: ...and that's my plan, Principal. So, what do you think?
Principal: But... you didn't tell me anything? You just sat down & said "And that's my plan".
Tony The Tiger: And you know what I got for Christmas? A pack of cigarettes. My dad grabbed me and said, " Smoke 'em up Tony, they're grrrreat!".....bastard.
Peter(as Lando): Sweet statuatory, you look beautiful.
Peter: I'll tell you Lois, High school is a lot more fun this time around. And it's a lot safer now that all the kids have guns.
Peter(as Lando): Hey, does anyone have any drugs? I'm lookin' to score some drugs.
Man #1: Say Phil, what do you say to Happy Hour after work?
Phil: I'd say looks like Cheryl's gonna have another black eye to explain to the neighbours.
(both laugh)
Phil: Come on, I'm buyin'.
Teacher: A girl answered a math problem, you know what the means. A WITCH!
Peter: I had such a crush on her. Until I met you Lois. You're my silver medal. (kiss)
Teacher: All right, what's going on back here? Oh hello Megan. Wait a minute, your not part of the popular clique. You run along and play alone somewhere. Shame on you all, getting her hopes up like that.
The character of Connie D'Amico was originally going to be called "Connie Resendes" after the high school crush of Family Guy writer Danny Smith.
This is the episode that features the famous "things got way too real gag". The Mask in the scene was later given to the staff of Planet Family Guy, a popular Family Guy fansite, as a thank you gift.
After the plane has crashed the pilots say, "When the boss hears about this, we're dead!" and "Do you remember if I closed the garage door this morning?" - the subtitles are correctly translated Korean.
The Brady Bunch
When Peter as "Lando" dumps Meg for Connie, he says, "Something suddenly came up!" A reference to The Brady Bunch episode where Marcia dumps a nice boy to go out with a hunk.
Tiny Toon Adventures
Peter: Thanks, G. I'm the new kid in town, Lando Griffin. No Relation.
The "No Relation" quote is similar to when Buster and Babs Bunny introduced themselves in Tiny Toon Adventures.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Peter has an audio recording for when Lois opens the bedroom door. Ferris prepared an audio recording for Rooney when the house doorbell was pressed in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Spiderman
When Peter falls from the roof of his house, he is saved by the Marvel Comics superhero, Spiderman.
Boy: Mr. Toad How many Licks of you does it take to get to the center of a Rhode Island State Prison?
The style and lines of this commercial are taken from the commercials for Tootsie Roll Pops.
The song Peter sings is a parody of "You're the One That I Want", from the movie Grease.
Lando Griffin: Lando Griffin
Peters high school name when he is undercover is Lando Griffin. Peter probabaly used the name from Star Wars character Lando Calrissian, and also saying that Peter is a huge Star Wars fan.
Stewie: Please sir, I want some more.
Reference to the 1948 movie Oliver Twist.
The Breakfast Club
At the very end of this episode, it shows Peter's picture in the high school yearbook. The song "Don't You Forget About Me" by the Simple Minds is playing in the background. The last shot of Peter on the football field is just like the ending shot of the movie The Breakfast Club.
Title: Let's go to the Hop
"At the Hop" is a Danny and the Juniors song from the Era that Grease is set in. This has numerous Grease references.
Peter: Graffiti Thompson Twins Rule
When Peter is spraying graffiti on the wall and then sprays under his arms, it is a reference to the opening sequence of the Wil Smith sitcom, Fresh Prince of Bel Air. He also refferences the Thompson Twins, a group from the 80s famous for their song "Hold Me Now"
Peter: I've got to fight for my right to party.
this is a reference to the hit song, "Fight for your Right" from the Beastie Boys' album Licence to Ill.
Tony the Tiger: And you know what I got for Christmas? A pack of cigarettes. My dad grabbed me and said, " Smoke 'em up Tony, they're grrrreat!".....bastard.
This is similiar to what Judd Nelson said in the breakfast club, when he is yelling at Claire(Molly Ringwald) about the difference's in their Christmas gifts.
Lando: Holy crap, its the breakfast club.
The Breakfast Club was a sleeper hit in the 80s written and directed by John Hughes. The film was about a group of kids forced to spend Saturday in detention.
Peter: I will drive recklassly into the night, and up Dead Man's Curb
This is very similar to the ending of Grease 2 starring Michelle Pfeiffer.
Kid #2: I finally get Aaron Sorkin's Sports Night. Its a comedy that's too good to be funny!
Sports Night was a series that ran for 2 years on ABC. It struggled in the ratings as it was considered too smart for its time slot. This failure worried NBC about the cost of The West Wing.
