I like this episode very much, but there were a couple of things about it that bothered me.First,if Peter is retarded, does that make Cris retarded as well? Next, I didn't like the way they showed retarded people. I have know lots of them, and none of them ever acted as irresponibly as Peter did.

    What I liked:
    * Peter and the Trivial Pursuit game. He doesn't know what color a fire truck is. LMFAO!
    * Peter is convinced he is a genius and finds out he really is not a genius.
    * The ending. Overall, I think that this was one of the best episodes of season 4 if not one of the best of the series. I would recommend watching this ep.moreless

  • It's horrible! What is so special about it anyway?

Seriously, I have never seen such a horrible FG episode! The plot failed to impress, and the fact that they played on Peter's lack of intelligence kind of irked me too. Most FG episodes are at least good, but this one? I hate it! We all know that Peter is dumb and doesn't look out for many people, but they didn't have to make an episode about it! and the Meg bashing is getting seriously annoying too. Season 4 should ditch it right away! and Lois losing the kids? That's already been done in "Love Thy Trophy" when Lois nearly lost Stewie. But that episode was great!

Season 4 has its good and really really bad episodes, but this one really made FG look stupid! Just my opinion though.moreless

  • I'm not a fan of the show but there's no denying the quality of this episode.

During a game night at the Griffin's; Peter wins a fixed game a Trivial Pursuit and starts bragging about being a genius until Brian gets him to take a test to prove that he's not a genius but mentally retarded. When Peter starts using his retarded excuse for misbehaving; Lois ends up in hospital and the kids are taken from him. Has Peter messed things up for good? Apart from the inane "Vaginal Monologue" and Firetruck gag this is a very down - to - earth episode and relies more on wit than random cutaways to be funny and it is. A lot of the issues are realistic and it even gets pretty dramatic towards the end which is saved with a final twist of humour and for once ends with a true happy ending. Visually this episode is one of the best with very nice background design and crispness and the vocal performances from Seth and Seth and Seth and Seth and Seth are great. This is one of the more excellent episodes of a hit and miss show.moreless
