When Lois' wealthy aunt dies unexpectedly, the Griffins inherit her extravagant mansion. Although his family doesn't want to relocate, Peter is eager to enter the ranks of the upper classes and moves them onto the estate. Revenue from the sale of the Griffins' old house goes to the live-in servants, who were only paid up until the end of the song and dance number. Caught up in the spirit of his new social standing, Peter bids One Hundred million dollars, a spoof of Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies, at the Historical Society for vase. Realizing that he can't come up with the money he tries to offer Cherrywood Estate as a fair trade, even trying to butter the deal by saying lots of 'historical' thing happened there, such as the hole in the wall where 'the stock market crashed', needless to say it didn't work, but a hidden compartment shows itself, and the old naughty pictures it was hiding. making Cherrywood the greatest presidental whorehouse in all of history, the money from the sale of the photos plus the house make enough for Peter to pay off the debt. And the Griffin's move back into they're old house, when asked how he was able to buy it back, Peter said that he had done some auctioning himself and had kept one of the photos to sell to the tabloids so that he could pay the people who he sold the house to double what they had paid. And in the end the family realizes that its not where you live but its who you live with that makes life the way it is
