  • Peter runs against Lois for a local school

    8.0
    "Great"
When Lois decides to run for the local school board, Peter runs against her in effort to get his favorite teacher reinstated. Peter and his supporters start a negative campaign against Lois, including a bunch of lies and even sexy pictures of her. Peter's mudslinging works and he is elected. Peter starts some strange policies, including armed robots taking over for hall monitors. The new policies backfire after Chris is caught bringing inappropriate magazines to school. Peter must then think of a way to get Lois back and regain his reputation with the town of Quahog. This episode was great. My only problems is the dragged parts, but other than that, it was a great episode ton watch. I laughed at Stewie's role throughout the episode, Chris getting caught, and some other parts that I didn't remember. Overall, a great episode, but it was just boring for most of the part. 8/10

What I liked "I'm going to eat your nose", the candy filled lung of the clown, "Lois Griffin, is a slut!"

    An okay episode

  • Not the best Season 2 episode but it was overall great

    8.5
    "Great"
I thought that this was a great Season 2 episode of "Family Guy". It wasn't my favorite episode but it was overall great and I really enjoyed it. It was hilarious when there was a studio audience in the beginning of the episode. Chris being suspended for peeking at the girls' locker room was pretty funny. It was also very funny when Peter gave Chris his playboy magazines. Stewie showing that he misses Lois was very funny and it was funny when Brian said to Stewie "Mama's boy". The cutaways with Peter and his favorite science teacher were very funny. Peter's presidential video for the school was hilarious especially when he showed the sexual photo of Lois and it spreads all over the news. I laughed at some other parts as well but I don't remember. The rest of the episode was pretty good but it could have been better. Peter confessing to everyone that he gave the playboy magazines to the whole school was good to see and that Lois forgives Peter for embarrassing her. The ending was funny as well. My score was just a little low because some parts were boring and could have been better. Overall, this was a great episode of "Family Guy". 8.5/10

  • A really good episode!

In this Family Guy episode, Lois becomes the lone candidate in the race for school board president; that is, until Peter joins the campaign as a contestant.

I loved the dirty moves that Peter used to get himself elected. I also really loved Mr. Fargess, or whatever the teacher's name was. What a great teacher!

This episode was packed with great laughs and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it again and again. The episode certainly deserves to be credited as one of the best.

I also loved the plot to the story in this one. It was set out clearly, and it was very interesting to follow.

    Keep it up, Family Guy!
  • This is the type of comedy that makes me crazy about this series.

Lois' campaign for school board president is interrupted by a call from Chris' principal - apparently Chris was caught peeking into the girls' locker room. While Peter and Lois are at the school talking to the principal, Peter runs into his favorite teacher from the past, Mister Fargus (voiced by Dwight Schultz); he has been reduced from his former peppy (almost loony) self to a catatonic old man due to pills he has been required to take by the school board. Peter tells Mister Fargus to stop taking the pills, which quickly causes Mister Fargus to go off the edge (he and his students begin smashing eggs of the endangered California condor) and subsequently get fired. Furious that Lois will not give Mister Fargus his job back, Peter decides to run for school board president, too, so that he can reinstate him to his old position. Peter kissing babies on the campaign trailPeter mounts a campaign against Lois that shows some promise, but at a debate between them, Lois trounces Peter. Desperate to win, Peter airs a political ad, using a sexy picture of Lois (which Lois gave to Peter for their anniversary) to discredit her. Lois is horrified.

She's especially furious when Peter actually wins the school board presidency and then doesn't seem to take his new position very seriously. To calm her down, Peter tells Lois he's going to show her all the great changes he has in store, but, of course, all of his proposed "improvements" are ridiculous. During a TV interview it's revealed that the kids at Peter's school are reading pornography and, even worse, that Peter supplied it. This causes a huge scandal for Peter, who is advised to pin the whole thing on Lois. During a press conference, he can't bring himself to do that because every woman he saw turned into Lois. In fact, he finds himself apologizing to her for this horrible behavior. He resigns and he and Lois leave on a helicopter.
  • I love this episode so much!

This was a really great episode, and it felt like it was in season 3, There are some really great moments in it, and yes I have no complaints about, so I could say this show was when it started to almost become good, and I have no complaints with season 1, but some of them seem to sure of themselves. This is a very inept episode and I love it, in my top 30: Ranking 23. I do love this episode and I hope others love it too, but I was a little disapointed to see only four other reveiws for it ohwell, It is a great episode!!
  • By killing you...!

What a cool episode... in order to get Mr. Fargas back Peter and Lois fight against each other in the school association presidential, well I don't know exactly but the thing is that this episode is really cool and I think that this is one of the best episodes of the series, because it is, is as cool as any other episode, and with this episode the series turn even cooler, and cooler. Family Guy rules!
  • This is a pretty good episode.

    9.3
    "Superb"
This is an OK episode. It's pretty funny though.

Peter gives Chris some porn magazines because he is more interested in girls, if you know what I mean. Then Lois decides to run for school board. Peters favorite teacher when he was a kid got fired and Lois said that she agrees and when she becomes school board president, she won't hire him back. So then Peter decides to run for president of the schol board too. Alot of funny stuff happens including a really funny debate. Lois had most of the votes so Peter made a commercial about how Lois was a slut and on the commercial, it showed a half naked picture of Lois. Everyone voted for Peter. Peter was school board president (his first acomplishment). Chris gave his friends some of the porn magazines. Trisha Takanawa interviews Peter at the library. One of Chris's friends was looking at one of the porno magazines. The kid said that Peter gave it to Chris, who gave it to him. Peter said Lois did it. Then later he edmited that he did it and quit.

    I give this episode a 9.3 out of 10.
  • Boy, will I be glad when that studio audience moves out of the area!

    9.4
    "Superb"
This episode had a very god plot with Griffin Vs Griffin and had great scenes involving nearly every character:

Chris: Oh, I was going for a new record!

Peter: Now go into that classroom and teach your Faghan ass off

Stewie: I've grown accustomed to her face (while looking at pictures of him trying to kill Lois)

    Brian: I heard that!

    Lois: Aw sweetie, maybe

I also enjoyed the fact that the studio audience got their comeuppance for annoying the neighbourhood, with Stewie declaring "Damn you all!" and firing at them.

Overall, this episode is a very good friction episode and one that Family Guy fans should defintely watch.
