  • Quagmire cheats with Cleveland's wife

    9.5
    "Superb"
When Peter hears Loretta scream, he tries to help out, but discovers Loretta is cheating on Cleveland. Peter figures out that it was Quagmire and decides to tell Cleveland about it. But when Loretta walks out on Cleveland he doesn't take it lightly. Last episode with Cleveland and Loretta together. It had the usual humor especially most of the cutaways here. Parts I mainly laughed at were the beginning with them saying celebrities' names, the CPR meeting, Peter doing CPR on the guy, Quagmire sleeping with Loretta, and a few more. My score is lower because Cleveland was a little out of character (although it was kinda funny) plus in my opinion he didn't got that jerky as much as he in his own show (in some of the episodes). Otherwise, an excellent episode. 9.5/10

I liked the "You've been kicked in the nuts" gag, and the "let the hate flow through, YOU'RE NOT HELPING", and I liked how Cleveland tried to kick Quagmire's ass. What I didn't like was how Cleveland couldnt hurt Quagmire, so you're just going to let a man sleep with your wife and forgive him? Jeez..

  • This episode not only changed Family Guy permently, but it gave me a new respect for Cleveland.

In this episode Cleveland's wife, Loretta, cheats on him with Quagmire. At first he's barely upset at all, but eventually he goes on an angry rampage to kill Quagmire. As the title suggests, this is a crazy episode, yet the story somehow all flows together, and on a side note the cutaways work pretty nicely here, the best of which is the vauderdale boys and the aids song. Also, through episode, I began to like Cleveland better through this episode. Before this ep, I enjoyed Cleveland, but he felt more like an misused side-character, but here he's used to perfect effect from his gentle nature to his angry outburst to his return to gentle nature, this is Cleveland's best storyline ever, and watching this made me sad to not see him in the newer episodes of family guy. :(. Overall, I'm not afraid to classify this as one of my top 20 favorites, and I highly suggest you watch this episode. 9/10

Haha, great episode. Peter compares kissing the CPR dummy to kissing Faye Dunaway. LMAO! I loved when Quagmire's hand is in Loretta's shirt, and Cleveland just ignores it. Peter attempts CPR on a living, breathing man. LMAO! I loved when the guy gave Joe CPR, and Peter's like, "Eew, gay LMAO! Loretta tells Quagmire to shut up, and to put some more sugar in her bowl. LMAO! I love Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, and all of the Family Guy cast and crew. They're geniuses. I love when Brian asks Meg if she wants to have sex. Great episode, definitely.

Peter and Brian catch Loretta sleeping with another man, but don't catch the man. It turns out the man was Quagmire. Soon Cleveland and Loretta break up, and at first, Cleveland does not care. But soon he wants to make Quagmire pay. They are about to fight but in the end they do not and their friendship is restored.

A decent episode, not one of their all-time best, but from what I remember it is watchable. It had a decent plot and some good jokes, my overall grade for this episode is a B- or so. Good, but not great
  • To begin with i'm not an avid Family Guy viewer. I don't even like it that much but i find this episode OK.

    5.5
    "Mediocre"
This episode doesn't get down to business until about 15 minutes into it. Peter is throwing a party on his boat and when Joe nearly drowns the hypersonic Lois makes Peter attend CPR class run by the freaky, non - name guy who wears the green sweater. (You know who i'm talking about).

After his license is revoked Peter hears Loretta screaming and later sees her having relations with Quagmire. When the mild - mannered Cleveland is kicked out and refuses to take out his anger; Peter teaches him to "free the beast".

As you can see this episode is very scattered and neither of the clunky plot twists work too well but the final little bit that has Cleveland transformed angry has its moments. This is the first episode to have a storyline centered on someone other than a Griffin family member and the ending has a permanent effect on the rest of the series.

The problem with the episode, for once, does not lie in how it looks as the animation at this point has taken leaps and bounds in its detail and quality but their writing really hasn't; the plot feels so underwritten with the jokes often being more lame than funny. The interesting twist where Cleveland finally taps into his rage is given a brief and illogical conclusion.

Audibly this episode is painful; partly due to Loretta and Alex Borstein's atrocious female African - American accent which is overused here and Cleveland's elongated and weird speech gets so grating on the ears due to his prologned appearence, we find ourselves wishing it was over for a reason other than the episode was going nowhere. The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire is not a quagmire in that it offers some superficial entertainment but beyond its "guilty pleasure" appeal, there really isn't much to offer.

I love it how every Family Guy episode does the same thing at every episode and they do the funnies.I loved this episode and some of the scenes were funny.I loved it how in a flashback,Peter was a Conehead. That partwas very funny and I really loved this episode.I loved it when Paulie comes out of nowhere and says about Cleveland "He's a wrecking machine!".That part was very funny and I really loved that scene. It was kind of funny and it was a very good episode. It's still has a thing about this episode and it is becoming one of the funniest shows ever made.
  • Very funny, but some parts weren't very good...

Great episode. But, at some parts, I didn't like it.

"To The Petercopter!" That was a great line. I was laughing a lot after he said that, and then after the second time Joe asks (or, yells) "Peter, where do you get the money for these things!?" That was hilarious. Other than that, it wasn't that good. It had a good plot to it, I was hoping that Cleveland and Loretta would get back together, but sadly, no. I guess that added another twist to the Family Guy storyline. Also, I felt that they should have shown more ways that Peter tried to find Cleveland's emotions. But, there wasn't. Fine as it is, though.

Clevland and Quagmeyer have a final rumble.

  • The episode shows that the series' creators are willing to shake things up in the name of keeping it funny.

Since the beginning of Family Guy, Quagmire's "mimbo" status has always been present, and one had to wonder when it would rear its ugly head to cause a problem for the neighbors on Spooner Street. If you guessed that the critical point would involve Lois, you were wrong. Instead, it's Loretta who tempts Quagmire into the sack (or on to the couch, as it were), and the affair might have gone unnoticed except for Brian and Peter.

Rarely is infidelity and the breakup of a long-term marriage a laughing matter, but Peter's attempts to help Cleveland deal with the loss border on the insane. I was literally crying tears from laughing so hard at the scene in which Peter dons a Cleveland mask, forces a Loretta mask on Brian, and then attempts to re-enact the more intimate moments he witnessed when he stumbled on to the affair. In the end, I was disappointed that Loretta would no longer be a regular part of the show, but you have to applaud the writers' courage in taking the show in a new direction. This episode is a classic for that reason.

This episode is pretty darn good in my opinion. I just watched it last night when it came on on FOX at 11:00 o'clock. I was pretty drowsy at the part when they were on the cruise, which was when I first turned it on. But then, things really started to pick up, and I was wide awake. That proves that Family Guy is so good, it can actually wake you up. Yes, corny I know. But in the end, this episode was funny and serious. Funny as the example of the BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! parts, and serious as in the divorce. LOVED IT!
  • Rock lobster!

    9.9
    "Superb"
I enjoyed this episode a lot, but I did dislike the "Rock Lobster" bit that people seem to go crazy for just because it was something so random and senseless. It's not a rock, but it's a rock lobster? Oh, how amazing. But the rest of the episode had it's good parts. I just disliked how Cleveland was being such a weirdo. But at least we get an episode about him. Let's see what the Cleveland Show would be like when it airs.

Quagmire discovers that Loretta likes him and Quagmire ends up doing her. Peter and Brian walks in after thinking Loretta is in pain and then it starts a commotion. After Peter and Brian does everything there is to do, they do the last thing they would do, tell. Cleveland isn't so shocked until Peter convinces him that it was a bad thing and now Cleveland wants to kill Quagmire, but it isn't in his blood to do so.. or is it?

Something we haven't had in a while or ever. An episode of Cleveland.
  • Peter gets kicked in the nuts! Cleveland loses his wife, due to Quagmire cheatin on Loretta.

    "Perfect"
I really, really and yes I mean really loved this episode. One of my all-time favorites. I loved the Kicked in the Nuts parody and Lois went all insane, and they found it was a joke. That was hilarious. Anyway, Cleveland loses his wife due to Quagmire's cheatin on Loretta. And I really liked the CPR part, and when they played the Guess Who? game on the deck. Cleveland started becoming a man, and he got so angry. Some parts made me laugh, when he got angry. I loved the Mayor part, he kept making me smile. I give this a 11/10! Woot.
  • One of my favorite episode of al time, and in all the whole series.

Peter invites his friends on board his fishing boat for a party at sea. An intoxicated Brian makes an awkward pass at Meg, who is horrified. While Quagmire is fishing, he catches a fish that lands in Loretta Brown's shirt. She invites him to reach in and grab it, which he does after a moment of hesitation. While Quagmire's hand is between her breasts, Cleveland approaches and mentions the snacks Peter has supplied, serenely saying hello to Glenn before walking away. After the fish is finally extracted, Loretta propositions Quagmire (to his amazed confusion). During a game of charades, Joe falls overboard and nearly drowns while attempting to portray "Natalie Wood." His life is saved by Peter's two Portuguese employees, who rescue Joe in a fishing net, pull him aboard, and perform CPR. Because no one in the family knew what to do in an emergency, Lois insists that they take CPR classes. Peter almost instantly has his CPR card revoked for inappropriate behavior (i.e. taking off peoples' pants to see if they soiled themselves).

While Peter ponders taking the CPR course again, he and Brian hear screams coming from Cleveland's house. They rush in to find Loretta having sex on the couch with a white man who has a tattoo on his buttocks (it was Quagmire). Embarrassed, they leave without seeing the man's face, although Quagmire raises his head from the sofa immediately afterwards.

They decide that the last thing in the world they should do is tell anyone about this. So after doing everything in the world in one day, they tell Lois, the Swansons and Quagmire that Loretta is having an affair. Peter volunteers to tell Cleveland, since he has experience with delivering bad news (in a barbershop quartet performing musical diagnoses for terminally ill patients). Meeting Cleveland at the Drunken Clam with Brian, Peter delivers the news in a typically overly-detailed fashion.

When Cleveland calmly questions Loretta over the affair, she angrily responds that she needs a real man. Cleveland responds in his usual mild-mannered way, even apologizing, and Loretta kicks him out of the house in disgust. The Griffins invite him to stay in their house. Lois claims Cleveland doesn't seem affected by the fact that his wife has kicked him out of the house and cheated on him at all. Peter suggests that what Cleveland needs is a "revenge lay" and decides to ask Quagmire for advice. Quagmire is working out in revealing leopard-skin briefs when Peter and Brian arrive. They instantly recognize the tattoo on his butt and realize that Glenn was Loretta's partner. Despite Quagmire's pleas, Peter and Brian immediately tell Cleveland but are surprised when he shows almost no reaction.

Lois tells Cleveland that Loretta wants him to express his feelings: that women sometimes want men to be strong and stand up for them. Peter then tries to get his friend to feel some passion by taking him to a wrestling match featuring Randy Savage, but it affects Peter much more than Cleveland. He then puts on a Quagmire mask and molests Brian (unwillingly wearing a Loretta mask). This method finally yields results; Cleveland becomes enraged and vows to kill Quagmire.

Peter realizes that he has gone too far and tries to protect Glenn by hiding him at Mayor Adam West's mansion. West's lunacy soon proves too much for even Quagmire, who returns home and calls Cleveland to apologize. Cleveland appears and chases Quagmire around his house wielding a baseball bat. When he finally has Glenn at his mercy cowering on the lawn (and also by seeing Meg, Chris and Lois looking on in horror - Stewie still seems indifferent to it all, of course), Cleveland realizes that he is unable to hurt another living person, no matter how badly they have hurt him. Peter tricks Loretta into seeing Cleveland (by saying that Lois needs an intervention), but instead of reconciling, the couple agree to divorce.

Cleveland and Quagmire apologize to each other and, at Glenn's insistence, take out their remaining aggressions on each other in a boxing ring (in a parody of the ending to Rocky III).

Ya you know it another personal favorite of mine that will never get taken off the list. This is another personal favorite of mine because its Hilarious and I have never seen Quagmires butt in all of the episodes I have ever seen of family guy and to me that is a heck of alot. Its also a great episode to watch because it shows one of the first affairs in family guy between a really good friend and his wife. The last reason this is a good episode is that in the end Cleveland Quagmire end up being friends without a big fight besides the small one at the end.
  • Put Some More Sugar In My Bowl!

Wow, Lorreta and Cleveland get a divorce, this episode could've been done a little bit better, like with Meg 'easing the pain' for Cleveland Junior by doing something to him and then Connie coming in and Cleveland Jr saying Meg was just the warmup round, how funny would that have been?!? Or something like that, but for the most part it was just hilarious. Espiccally the first act, which is alot better than most of season 4. I also like the end of the episode, where I cracked up, you know the boxing thing.

I gave this episode a low rating only because I felt it could've been done better.
  • I like this episode along with all the other episodes of Family Guy. It was funny in this particular episode that Cleveland gets cheated on by his wife with his best friend.

    "Good"
I give this episode a 7. There are alot more episodes that I like better. Beacuse all in all I love Family Guy. It is a GREAT show, better than the Simpsons. They need to keep making more episodes of Family Guy. The show is that damn good. I liked how Cleveland's wife didn't really care that she cheated in him. I like the kind of character that she brought to the show. It was funny how they had her with an attitude. She is so aggresive and Cleveland is such a laid back kind of guy. Quagmire is just strange why would she fall for him?
  • This is worse than when they took away my library card for reading while intoxicated!

This episode marks a pivotal moment for the residents of Spooner Street, Cleveland and Loretta divorcing after Loretta cheats on Cleveland with who else but Quagmire!

There are some hilarious scenes in this episode such as Adam West’s advice to use the banana when the time was right and Loretta being angry with Cleveland for not standing up for himself when she was the one who cheated on him.

Peter’s idiotic scheme to get Cleveland mad by wearing a Quagmire mask and pretending to make out with Brian whom he forced a Loretta mask on.

Overall, this episode is both funny and important which makes it a great family guy episode.

Escuchen la cancion "You have AIDS", es realmente comica.

I like this Episode. the Part of Lois went crazy like this:

Lois: Oh God Peter, Hit Me!

that is Funny. to Hit that Ass.

at the End, Peter was kick in the Nuts.

and there no more of loreatte and quamire get the Fish out of Loreatta.

    Funny.
  • Peter and Brian catch Loretta having an affair with Quagmire. This isn't all that devastating to Clevelend who seems to be emotionless.

    7.5
    "Good"
This is an episode with some good jokes that are hilarious. The plotline was sort of revealing of what the charactors are gonna be like in the next episodes.

Peter is hilarious in this episode. Well Peter is hilarious in almost every episode. Most of the good jokes in this episode are assosiated with Peter. It is always stupid things that Peter does too.

The storyline effected the charactors for this episode and episodes to come. Loretta probably won't be in anymore episodes after this one (maybe on a few occasions). I know for a fact that this same storyline will carry over, because they mentioned it in the next episode, "Brian the Bachelor."

A lot of great spoofs are in this episode, and they are hilarious. These include: Rockey, Star Wars, Coneheads, and more.

This is an episode I reccomend to watching, it has quite a few good moments.
  • Loretta cheats on Cleveland by having sex with Quagmire, Peter, Brian and Lois try to tactfully tell Cleveland, who tries to "turn the other cheek", but after a embarassing re-enacting by Peter and Brian, he wants to destroy Quagmire! Cleveland and Lorett

    9.5
    "Superb"
This is the second most hilarious episode of the season! The part I laughed at the most was when Peter imitated Quagmire, then forced brian to play Loretta and comically "re-enact" (despite Brian's complaints) the sexual act between Quagmire and Loretta they witnessed earlier, that finally angered Cleveland to the point of wanting to physically destroy Quagmire! And when Peter piloted his "Peter-copter", only to crash-land and tear up Joe's yard, then flew his "Hinden-Peter" blimp into Joe's yard( it blew up), both incidents which shocked and irritated Joe. Boy, it was a HOOT!!
  • A very nice story plot

A good story within the series, Especially since it's using a side character like cleveland. And it follows up in petarted when there are 7 hookers in his house and then cleveland says peter you and five of those hookers get out of here. and in brian the bachelor when peter tries to get cleveland on the bachelor. Pretty Good
  • This episode was just plain awesome.

    9.6
    "Superb"
This episode is by far the best episode of the season. From Peter trying to cheer Cleveland up by singing him the song "Rock Lobster" to Brian smacking Lois's butt, this episode just plain ruled. As of now, I can think of no complaints for this episode. I must admit that at first I was a little worried about Cleveland and Loretta getting a divorce (it seemed a little different and out of character), but after watching this episode, their divorce seemed like it needed to happen. And as another reviewer has already pointed out, the best part of the episode is when Peter destroyed Joe's front yard with the Petercopter and then later crashed into Joe's house with the Hindenpeter earning a "How can you afford these things!?" question from Joe. I can't fathom how anyone could hate this episode. This is a much watch for any Family Guy fan!
  • Another favorite episode of mine from a series that's rivaling the simpsons

    8.3
    "Great"
This episode had it's moments. Peter learning CPR & then getting his license revoked. Peter, telling joe to kick when he was drowning & joe couldn't cause he was a paraplegic. Quagmire, "doing it" with his best friend's wife. The way Celevand wanted revenge. The Kick in the nuts part. The Rocky moments. Everything was perfect in this episode.
  • This episode is missing something.. Or maybe someone?

    6.5
    "Fair"
I liked the new direction that Family Guy was going in this episode, but they left out Cleveland Jr. and they did'nt even show how he was effected by the divorce. I mean, if they're going to make a storyline like this, then they should've made sure to show how the WHOLE family was effected and not just the couple getting divorced.

For example, in the episode of the Simpsons where Kirk and Luan wanted a divorce, they showed how the whole family was effected, which included Milhouse.

I was very disappointed and I hope that they will at least show how Cleveland Jr. was effected soon enough.
  • This episode has to be the best of the season up to date.

    9.0
    "Superb"
Out of the previous 4 episodes, this one easily beats the others out of the competition. This episode has classic moments of Quagmire. The song about "you have aids" was the best moment of the episode, but that wasn't it. Other parts include was Peter's CPR use in the beginning along with his detective work. Non-stop laughter throughout the episode, easily one of the best of the season.

I chose this episode as a character development because it gives an inside look to Cleveland and his now former wife Loretta, the only part missing from this episode was the son, Cleveland Jr. That was the only let down, and that character could have only increased the hilairous-ness of this episode. Most the episodes so far have starred the Griffin family, and this was a nice side episode to further develop side characters, such as Cleveland and Quagmire. Overall, this was a great episode and I look forward to a follow-up of this plot that includes which ways both Cleveland and Loretta went.
  • A bizzarely tangled scheme that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. Completely atypical of the comedic genius FG is usually known for. I appreciate non-sequitor humor as much as anyone, but this episode was just sad.

    3.4
    "Bad"
I'm not sure what happened in the writing of this episode, but it didn't hold together to the standard I'm used to from Family Guy. Certainly there were elements of non-sequitor humor as good as any others in FG, such as Lois revving herself into getting slapped by Brian or the use of holy water in the Bewitched parody, but overall the episode felt flat and unfilled. Perhaps it was the rocky start, with a party on a boat that bore no explanation. FG episodes are always centered around some focal family event, hence "Family" Guy, and moreover usually grow in as linear a fashion as you can expect from a non-linear comedy. This episode was a clear departure from that, where many non-linear jokes were simply filler, such as the Puerto Ricans serving on the boat. Overall, this episode simply lacked the spark and panache of earlier, more prominent FG. Perhaps I'm being too harsh, but I hope we'll see a return to the characters that are better plotted, and interact better, such as the Family itself, espeically Brian and Stewie. In fact, I don't believe Chris or Meg said a single word in this episode. Perhaps, being what must be considered post-season on today's television, they are low on money? In any case, I was not particularly amused by this episode, contrary to every other FG episode.
  • One of the best episodes of the new season.

    8.1
    "Great"
Being a "die hard" fan of this show, the first couple of episodes had me laughing, but I wanted more. What I wanted were those characters that made the show ever so special to make worthy appearances and this one delivered that. This was a large Quagmire based episode, as the title suggests and being a fan favorite, it was nice to see him. It was also nice to see Mayor Adam West have a lager role than before. I'd never thought I'd hear 76 year old West saying the word b*ner, but thats Family Guy for you.
