When the Family visits Brown University (Brian's Alma mater) so Meg can see the campus and speak to the Dean of admissions. She is told that she needs more extra-curricular activities.
She decides to write for her high school's paper, and her first story is an interview with Mayor Adam West. This proves to be extremely difficult. Meanwhile, frustrated with his small stature, Stewie gets the idea that he can't achieve his objectives with his current size. Meg finally gets her interview and manages to uncover evidence of government corruption. Peter doesn't think that story is all that good, so he replaces it with a story claiming Luke Perry is gay. When Perry reads that, he files a lawsuit against the Griffins. Meanwhile, Stewie manages to place a mind control device on Chris and in effect, Chris becomes Stewie's personal robot.
Trying to get out of the suit and to make up with Meg, Peter tries to get evidence of Perry acting gay but Perry won't respond. Peters plan is revealed and he apologizes, saying he was only trying to help his daughter. Meg gets to interview him for a new article: "Luke Perry is straight, but it didn't Do Me a Damn Bit of Good". Peter gives Perry a copy of the revised article, but Perry rushes back to bed with Adam West who says he will have sex with Luke only if he would stop stealing his water and Luke agrees though he has no idea of what Adam West means.
Stewie's attempt to harness Chris's brawn take a turn for the worst but the mind control device is eventually shorted out by the microwave.
