After the mob helps Peter with destroying his new beat up car, so he can get another new car, he must repay his debt to the mob by taking The Don's nephew, Big Fat Paulie, to the movies. Peter informs Paulie that they can't hang out anymore because of Lois, a misunderstanding that leads Paulie to believe that Peter wants Lois killed. A superb episode again. I pretty much liked all the cutaways(especailly the one with the British guy going "Oh Reginald, I disagree")in this episode. Stewie's appearance (at the beginning) was hilarious. The ending was funny as well. My score is a bit low because a couple jokes were repeated and I didn't know some of the old FG writers repeat the jokes over and over unlike the newer ones which gets annoying. Overall, besides that, enjoyable episode. 9/10moreless

    What I liked:
-Peter thinking everyone was Big Fat Paulie
    -that cake the don ate.
-This is Big Paulie's Big Fat Ass

  • Overall superb episode of "Family Guy"

I thought that this was a superb episode of "Family Guy". My score was just a little low because I thought it was disgusting when Big Fat Paulie sneezed on Peter's tie... that was unneeded. It was funny when Peter rode on the car and it broke down. The cutaway with Entertainment Tonight was very funny. The cutaway with Peter going to see Dr. Hartman about his growth and Dr. Hartman said "Peter, that's not a growth, that's your penis was absolutely hilarious. We also get a little bit of a Godfather reference which is pretty cool. Big Fat Paulie getting a guy to try to shoot Lois back at Meg's school play was very funny. Peter was absolutely funny in this episode. Big Fat Paulie was also a pretty funny character as well. All of the jokes were clever and really funny. It was very funny when the one favor that Peter asked for was a cake when he could have used that favor for Lois not to be killed. It was nice when Lois wasn't gonna get killed after Peter said how Lois means the world to him. Overall, despite that one gross scene that I didn't find funny, this was a superb episode of "Family Guy". 9/10moreless

It is a shame that there are a lot of new episodes of Family Guy that are rated higher than this one on this site because this is better than most, if not all, of them.

"Big Fat Paulie" was a great one-off character they created here, and it was the perfect complement to another genius Peter Griffin performance. This is when the character was still revolutionary and iconic and not just a watered down version of Homer Simpson.

And the episode itself was a good story and a good parody on mob movies. Try not saying, "On this, the day of my daughter's wedding," after watching this episode.moreless

  • Good episode, quite funny.

This episode, 'There's Something About Paulie', was an interesting one that I recently saw. It was a pretty funny episode, and there were some very funny quotes, such as when Stewie was making his speech after realising that Lois had a hit on her.

That was a very funny moment, and I loved it when Stewie pulled that paper out of his pocket.

I thought the plot to this episode was average. It wasn't the best plot to an episode, but it certainly did provide its fair share of laughs.

I thoroughly enjoy this show and this was a good episode. Keep it up!moreless

    • When Peter goes to meet Big Fat Paulie so they can watch the movie, he is wearing a tie. While they are in the theater, the tie disappears. When Peter and Paulie go to Peter's house for dinner, the tie is then back on Peter. Edit
