When Stewie, Mort, and Brian sneak onto the U-Boat, they're seen by a Nazi who makes a mistake in his German...instead of " mit einen Dog" he should have said "mit einem Hund".
This is the first "Road to..." episode to not feature a musical number. Stewie and Brian try to start one, but are interrupted by Mort.
This is Stewie's third trip into time (the other two being Mind Over Murder and Stu & Stewie's Excellent Adventure) as well as Brian's second trip into time (the other being Meet The Quagmires).
One of the Nazi uniforms that was stolen had a McCain-Palin campaign button on it.
Chris and Meg did not appear in this episode.
Brian is an Atheist.
Peter enters Chris' room through a door but then when he goes to throw out the dead bullfrog he had brought in, he heads to where the door was but now it is suddenly a window.
The girl that Peter picks for Chris' practice date was Barbra, the girl that Chris liked in the season three episode, To Love and Die in Dixie.
When Brian meets Stewie, Stewie has a facepaint of a cat, after the Pink Pather clip he is shown without it.
Brian says to Stewie "If you don't like it, go on the internet and complain." This is a response from the writers to those fans of Family Guy who often posts blogs or forum comments with their gripes about the show, and about some inaccuracy within the show.
Chris finally suspects that Herbert may be a pedophile.
Peter's Note:
Lois-
Was watching rerun of "Three's Company." Laughed so hard, pooped in pants. Went to find all-night cleaners or pants store.
-Peter
Although Stewie killed Verne and Johnny a.k.a. The Vaudeville Guys in Saving Private Brian, and said to the camera: "Okay they're dead, alright, we're not going to be seeing them again"; The Vaudeville Guys do come back again (albeit Verne is a ghost while Johnny is in hell) in this episode.
It's rather odd that James Woods teaches Meg how to induce vomit, when Meg was the one who taught Chris in 'He's Too Sexy For His Fat'.
The ending for this episode is a replica of the previous Family Guy episode starring James Woods, "Peter's Got Woods".
The badge on Peter's fireman helmet looks that of the Heinz 57 Sauce label.
The text on the cover of Mustache Aficionado reads "This Issue: How to protect your mustache during an earthquake" and "Also: Cheech Marin: Mustache, or just dirt?"
