Another trip in the time machine lands Carl and Urkel on a pirate ship.
  • Really silly.

This was a decent episode. The problem I have with this and other science fiction episodes is the unrealistic elements and storylines. I didn't care much for the time traveling back to a pirate ship plot. I found it very predictable and silly. It reminded me how completely different this kind of Family Matters is compared to the first 4 seasons. I did like the comedy, as it made up for some of the ridiculous bits. I also liked seeing everybody fight pirates, although I could have done without the last minute predictability. Overall, not bad, but not great either. Thank you.moreless

    • (after Carl and the gang are all on the plank) Captain Hightower: Any last words before you meet your maker? Steve: Yeah. (presses the home button on Myra's time device) So long, suckers! Captain Hightower: That's a very strange choice of words. (they all disappear back to the present and the captain falls off the plank and into the sea; the shipmates cheer)

    • Steve: At the end of his hunger strike, I gave Gandhi a cookie. Eddie: What'd he say? Steve: Well, he said, "Oh, thank you very much! I am very hungry!"

    • Eddie: Steve combined his teleportation pad with his time machine so now he can travel anywhere in history. Harriette: Isn't that dangerous? I mean, for people in history.
