When Aunt Oona sang in the karaoke contest, she didn't even pick a song to sing. She just went up onstage and started singing "Last Dance."
Steve: (bringing Aunt Oona in to meet the Winslows) Now they don't bite, and even if they do they've had all their shots. (laughs)
(Waldo crashes his snowmobile in the Winslows' living room)
Harriette: Waldo.
Waldo: 'Sup?
Harriette: Is this your snowmobile?
Waldo: Yeah, how much do I owe you for parking?
Eddie: I'll be outside helping fix Waldo's snowmobile.
Harriette: What's wrong with it?
Eddie: Two things—the accelerator keeps sticking, and Waldo's hair is stuck in the treads.
Harriette: So, Oona, how are things in Altoona?
Aunt Oona: Not so good. I've had a run of bad luck.
Carl: What happened?
Aunt Oona: My kitchen exploded.
Carl: How did that happen?
Aunt Oona: The gas main broke when my living room flooded.
Carl: How did the living room flood?
Aunt Oona: The water pipe burst when the roof collapsed.
Carl: But how—
Steve: Give it up, Carl, it's quicksand.
The German episode title is "Tante Oona aus Altoona", meaning "Aunt Oona from Altoona".
