Luke: If it isn't the toga boy. Steve: Well, is that your face, or did your neck throw up?
(Waldo returns from a cook-off) Waldo: I just remembered. I left the stove on in Skokje. (Walks toward the door) Eddie: Can't you just call? Waldo: Don't be stupid, Eddie. A stove can't answer the phone!
Eddie: I've been asked to pledge Beta Chi. Laura: Isn't that the really cool fraternity with all the good-looking guys in it? Eddie: Yeah. Laura: I wonder what they want with you.
Waldo: And Eddie, while I'm gone, no soaking your socks in my Crock Pot!
The German episode title is "Ein uncooler Freund", meaning "An Uncool Friend".
Though credited, Rosetta LeNoire (Mother Winslow) doesn't appear in this episode.
Telma Hopkins returns in a recurring role, reprising her character, Rachel. Her disappearance in the previous season is not explained, so it's assumed that she still lived with the Winslows, but just wasn't around as much.
