Steve joins the Winslows at church with faith that he'll get into the choir, but he's kicked out by new choir director Rachel, whose position has gone to her head.

I liked this episode because of the sense it made. Sometimes Family Matters episodes were a bit crazy in terms of storylines and plots, but this episode was well written and also very realistic. Rachel became choir director and also became power-hungry. She kicked out Steve and bossed everybody around. The choir got sick of her and quit. After she came to her senses, she apologized and the choir came back. The episode was entertaining and also was very much interesting. Overall, I liked the episode and it was refreshing to have an episode revolve around the church for once. Thank you.moreless

    • Mother Winslow: How did your parents react to you going to church? Steve: My father couldn't understand how I could believe in a God that I can't see, hear, or touch. But I pointed out that I can't see, hear, or touch an atom either, but I believe it exists.

    • Rachel: The reason the choir quit because the moment I became choir director, I started acting like a jerk. Choir Members: Amen. Well!

    • Mother Winslow: You know how you've been acting as choir director? Rachel: Yes. Mother Winslow: Knock it off.

    • Harriette: Oh, Richie, why did you spill grape juice all over yourself? Richie: Because we're out of orange juice.

    • Estelle: Steve, how did you get so good at checkers? Steve: Practice. Fortunately, when I was young I had no friends.

    • Rachel: Maybe you could come back when your voice has changed. Steve: It already did.
