Urkel once again pesters Carl... this time, showing off a rare Peruvial beetle he had spent hundreds of dollars on. Carl tells Urkel to get lost. When Urkel leaves the room, the beetle gets loose. Carl is unnverved and kills the beetle by squashing it with his foot. Urkel walks back into the living room just in time to find Carl completing the kill. Urkel is angry and demands that Carl provide restitution. Carl insists he will not... after all, "it was just a stupid bug!" After several days and Carl still refusing to pay for the squashed bug, Urkel announces he's filed a lawsuit. Not in any small-claims court, mind you, but rather Citizen's Court, a local TV small-claims court show. Both sides use the typical Carl-Urkel hijinks in arguing their cases. During closing arguments, however, Urkel makes an emotional plea for the judge to settle in his favor. While the judge excuses himself to consider the case, Carl agrees to pay for the beetle and apologizes for his mistake. Urkel is joyed. The judge becomes upset when the two announce they've settled – after all, he didn't get to give his decision.
