      • The German episode title is "Ein breiter Scheitel", meaning "A Wide Parting".

      • Starting with this season, the show was rewritten with alot of changes. Some examples: Eddie was supposed to start college this season, but instead spent another year in high school. Laura claims she met Steve Urkel on a blind date, but they knew each other since elementary school. The number of years Harriette and Carl been married has changed each year. The look of the Winslow household when it was first purchased (see the second season episode, "Son" and then the eighth season episode, "Father Time" for future reference).

      • JoMarie Payton is now credited as JoMarie Payton Noble.

      • Bryton McClure and Michelle Thomas both had recurring roles on the soap opera, The Young And The Restless.

      • This is the first episode where a different closing theme was used.
