  • Very interesting.

I have to say that this was a solid episode of Family Matters. I liked the storylines and also the plots. I must admit that the comedy was decent, but I thought what really stood out was the real-life lessons. Steve tried to warn Laura about her crush, but she wouldn't listen. She ended up learning the hard way. Eddie was about to beat the atr out of the guy who started the problem, but Laura stopped him just in time and made him admit that he lied. Overall, a solid episode with some entertaining bits here and there. It was fun. Thank you.moreless
  • Laura's boyfriend Ted implies to his talkative friends that he and Laura had sex, and Laura refuses to believe Steve when he tries to warn her. Eddie (and his fists) get Ted to tell the truth in front of everyone, where Ted also gives a heartfelt apologymoreless

I love the fact that Eddie was about to kick Ted's butt for messing with Laura. It was nice to see them show that brotherly-sisterly love for each other for a change. And even though Ted was a straight-up punk for letting his friends believe he had sexed Laura, him begging her forgiveness in the crowded hallway was really touching.

    • Ted: Can we wipe clean the slate and start fresh?
      Steve: No way!
      Laura: I don't know, Ted.
      Steve: She doesn't know, Ted.
Laura: I'll have to think about it.
Steve: She'll have to think about it.
Laura: But it's going to be VERY hard for me to forgive that you boosted your rep by ruining mine.
      Steve: You're history, buddy.

    • Ted: Nothing happened—one kiss, and I kept my eyes open.
Eddie: You know, Ted, as the unofficial rule of big brothers, it's my job to expose your vital organs to the sunlight.

    • Eddie: Well, Ted, you like to talk, so why don't you tell me what stories you've been telling your algae-sucking friends about you and my sister?

    • Harriette: Tomorrow, your father and I will call Ted's parents.
Laura: That won't do any good. They'll just ask him, and he'll deny it, and all his friends will still think I did it with him.
      Harriette: Then we'll fight it.
      Laura: We will?
Harriette: Oh, yes, for every problem there is a solution, and we are going to fight this.

    • Harriette: Don't worry, honey, everybody who knows you won't believe it.
Laura: Why not? When I heard rumors about people, I believed them. It sure feels different now that they're about me.
Harriette: See, that's the problem about rumors; they don't have to be true. People will believe them just as long as they're juicy.
