  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • Eddie: (after hearing about his straight A report card) Five dollars an A for six A's. You owe me forty dollars! (everyone looks at him dumbfounded)

    • Carl: Five dollars an A is an excellent incentive.
      Eddie: What's an incentive?
      Judy: Look it up!

    • Harriette: I just made a batch of cookies, do you want some?
Laura: No cookies will make me happy. I don't deserve to be happy—got any liver?

    • Rachel: [Richie]'s either wet, tired, cranky, or hungry.
Harriette: Then change him, feed him, tickle him, and put him to bed.

    • Eddie: I thought I had straight A's. I thought I was smart.
Rodney: You thought you were smart? What are you, stupid?

  • Notes

    • Rosetta LeNoire doesn't appear in this episode, but she is credited, however.

    • This was the final episode to use the original "What A Wonderful World" intro when this episode first aired, to be replaced with the more upbeat "As Days Go By" intro. The season one DVD set lists the theme song as "What A Wonderful World" during the end credits, but it says "As Days Go By" when rerun in syndication.

    • The German episode title is "Der Einserschüler", meaning "First Student".
