In the episode "Torn Between Two Lovers" Eddie's girlfriend Jolene broke up with him, however in this episode they're dating again with no explanation.
When Eddie crashes the car through the wall, the camera angle goes a bit too high and you can see part of the soundstage behind the set of the front porch, trees and "sky".
In this episode, Eddie's full name is given as Edward James-Arthur Winslow, but in every episode after that his full name is mentioned, the James is mysteriously taken out.
Carl: (upon seeing damage) Harriette, there is a car in the living room!
Harriette: Yes, yes, I know, but would you…
Carl: HARRIETTE, there is a CAR in the LIVING ROOM!
Harriette: Carl, don't overreact!
Carl: "OVERREACT?!" HARRIETTE, THERE'S A CAR IN THE LIVING ROOM!!!
Steve: Is there anything I can do for you while I'm down here?
Laura: Let me know when Eddie gets back.
(Eddie drives the car straight through the living room wall)
Steve: He's back!
Eddie: You want to get dressed now?
Carl: No.
Eddie: Why not?
Carl: I'm way ahead of you.
Laura: Gee, Steve…. Your baby shoes, your grandmother's dentures, fish jam; and I didn't get a thing for you.
Steve: Now, relax, Eddie. You had an accident. Carl will understand.
Eddie: Right. Dad will understand.
Carl: AAAAAAAAHHHH!!! Wha? Wha? Wha? Wha? Who? Wha? Wha? Wha? Who?
Harriette: Carl! Carl, calm down!
Carl: Harriette, there is a car in the living room!
Harriette: Yes, I know that.
Carl: Harriette, there is a car in the living room!
Harriette: Carl, don't overreact.
Carl: Overreact? Harriette, THERE IS A CAR IN THE LIVING ROOM!
Rachel: (to Harriette) Well at least we know where it is.
Steve: Laura? Laura, please. Please, my little Rapunzel.
Laura: For the last time, Steve. I will not give you a lock of my hair.
Steve: I'll settle for a toenail clipping!
Laura: How can you be so disgusting?
Steve: It's a gift!
Steve: Danger's my middle name! Well, actually it's Quincy, but you guys get the picture.
The German episode title is "Mit dem Kombi durch die Wand", meaning "Station Wagon Through the Wall".
The scene in the season 3 opening credits where Rachel and Harriette are having a paint fight is from this episode.
Rosetta LeNoire (Mother Winslow) doesn't appear in this episode, but she is credited, however.
