  • Funny.

    8.5
I don't really know how to put it, but I thought this was a very funny yet silly episode. I liked the fact that for once, there wasn't some outrageous invention taking center stage. Instead, we actually got a real-life storyline in Steve seeing Laura naked. What I found equally funny was seeing the two of them trying to avoid one another. Myra was very jealous and I thought it was funny to see the entire thing play out. Overall, this was a very good episode and I was entertained and interested for the most part. I really thought it was silly, though. Thank you.moreless
  • Hilarious episode. LOL!!

    9.9
This episode was just down-right hilarious. Steve and Laura accidently see each other naked, and it traumatizes them for the rest of the episode. They're embarrassed to talk to each other, let alone look at one other. It was just so funny to see the awkwardness between them. When Harriette see the gift Larry Johnson got for his wife and thinks it's for her, I knew Carl wouldn't have the guts to tell her it wasn't hers. And he didn't. (He was practicing what he would say and she overheard him. :P) But the gift that he got her was still really sweet.

So I think that this was a really good episode.moreless
  • Funnt

Family Matters isn't exactly hysterical, and it can't be taken too seriously. This was a pretty funny episode though. Steve and Laura freak out over seeing each other naked.. Carl gives a picture to Harriet of their afro selves on their first date. Pretty funny show. You can't get enough Family Matters.

I learned something new today... Family Matters is a spin-off of Perfect Strangers. I never saw that show, so I never would have guessed it.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • What happened to the shower Carl built Mother Winslow in the first season? That would suggest that there were at least two bathrooms in this house. Regardless, wouldn't Steve or Laura had secured the lock before dropping the towel?

  • QUOTES (5)

    • (Steve telling Myra about the incident between him and Laura)
Steve: Well this morning... I saw Laura... in the buff!
      Myra: AHHHHHHH!!

    • Steve: Never in my wildest fantasies have I pictured you in the all-together. Although there was that one hot summer night when I was tossing and turning in bed and I pictured you in... slacks and a blue blazer.
Laura: Well, that's okay, Steve. We all have fantasies. Fortunately mine are nothing like yours, but we all have them.

    • Laura: Steve, we can't go back in time and change what happened.
Steve: That's true. Or at least not until the government gives me some plutonium.

    • Eddie: When I was eight, I walked in on Mom and Dad, and if I can get over that, you two can get over this!

    • Eddie (eating fried chicken): You want a breast, Steve?
      Steve: Uh, no thanks, Eddo.
Eddie: How about a nice juicy thigh?
Steve: You shut your filthy mouth!
      Eddie: What?
Steve: All this talk of breasts, and shapely thighs, and lean flat stomachs covered with soap...

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Laura walks into the bathroom singing "I Will Always Love You" and says, "Whoa, move over Whitney," referring to Whitney Houston.
