If you watch closely when Steve accuses Eddie of the murder, you can clearly see the mic is caught in the shot.
Steve sucks the fish out of the fish out of the vacuum tube. There's really no way on earth he could manage to suck the fish out of the tube, especially without sucking out anything else. But in the name of comedy, this one slides. It's a great scene.
Waldo claims that after he made some bread and some stuffing, he "got [him]self a gobbler." But even if he had the entire class period for the turkey alone, he still would've had no hope of finishing it; it takes hours to roast a turkey.
We learn Waldo Faldo's middle name is Geraldo.
If Steve had no intention of going to church with the family, then why was he already dressed up when he dropped by their house?
When Laura has her dream, it's established that it's 75 years later when she's 90 and Carl and Harriette are 110. That means in reality Laura is 15, and Carl and Harriette are 35. How could that be when in the episode "Words Hurt," which aired before this episode, it was revealed that Carl's age was 38, not 35.
The Urkel-Bot was created by Kenny Myers who also worked on the Back to the Future trilogy and Star Wars V. The head was made out of fiberglass, his eyes and ears were controlled by RC motors, and a little person was actually in the costume helping move the arms and legs. According to the director of this episode, Richard Correll, the robot was a hit with the studio audience that attended the taping.
Mother Winslow is 80.
As the curtain closes in the scene just before the Balcony Scene, Carl stands up and yells, "Bravo, Juliet!" but Juliet isn't actually in that scene.
Everyone makes a big deal about Laura kissing Steve in the balcony scene, but the first kiss between Romeo and Juliet is in Act One, Scene Five. The Balcony Scene is Act Two Scene Two, so she would have already kissed Steve by then.
In other episodes they have Carl and Harriette's bedroom being above the living room. How can there be a leak from the roof into the living room, and how can Eddie fall through the roof and into the living room and not the bedroom?
When Harriette is talking about how Carl tried to build a bathroom for Mother Winslow, she says that Mother Winslow was blown into the basement when she used the bathroom that Carl fixed. But in the season 1 episode "Mr. Badwrench," Mother Winslow never even used the bathroom that Carl put together. After seeing the error of his ways, Carl had the bathroom professionally done before Mother Winslow returned from her vacation.
