Anyone know how to request or when a dvd would be available?

Or if the show airs on tv, reruns?

It would be fun to watch again.

I am looking for the music that was played on the show Family.  Does anyone know what it is called or how I could find it?

Family is a top seller on Amazon, by the way.  Ranking fairly high for such a forgotten program that's been gone for so long.

Why is it that this was not one of the TV series that went into constant rotation? Think of all the crapola that was produced in the 70's that just keeps playing in reruns, and a stellar series like this one is nowhere to be found (until now).

I am on disc 3 right now and I am surprised just how well it has held up over 30 years.

I heard that Jay Presson Allen (the creator) just died last May. She was 84.

I have purchased seasons 1 & 2 of Family and am reminded of why I was such an admirerer of this series when it came out originally, in the seventies, when I was just about Kristy McNichol's age. I have enjoyed hours of entertainment watching the series again.
I wonder what Gary Frank's biography is--can anyyone update me as to the details? Does he have children? I read in Wikipedia,
the online encyclopedia, the he has been married to the associate producer, ;Carroll Newman, since the70s! So good to hear something like that coming from Hollywood! What has been the best of the work Mr. Frank has done since Family? Can anybody help me or does anybody share the same interests?

I, too, bought Seasons 1 & 2 on Amazon, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Does anyone know if and/or where I could get the rest of the seasons? I understand there were 5 seasons in total, and would really love owning Seasons 3-5 as well. 2 seasons is just not enough!!

I hope they release the rest of this series...I was REALLY young when it aired on ABC...but I SOOOO remember MANY of the storylines because it was one of the more serious shows I was allowed to watch.
