‘Die Me, Duchotomy’ is a brilliant and extremely depressing way to end a wonderful and fabulous season.
Crichton keeps getting worse and now he changes into Scorpy, or the other way around.
Meanwhile there are healers on Moya and they have to heal the burned places, one that talks and the other one that heals and can’t ever have germs in it’s mouth and nose or else it will instantly die.
When Crichton begins to destroy something Aeryn wants him to stop and they have a very intimate moment where he tells her he loves her and is nothing without her and then suddenly knocks her out with his head. When Jothee sees it and wants to stop him with his tongue Crichton knocks him out as well but unknowing that D’Argo is standing right behind him and beats him out with his tongue.
I enjoyed the turn into D’Argo’s relationship with Chiana, she realised that they were to different and that Jothee is actually more like her. I also think that they make a better couple even though it’s sad for D’Argo.
John is going to let his brain gets switched because it’s the only way to take out the ship, but to do that he has to give the key to his body, it the healer fails he will be put in some thing to hold him.
When Crichton and Zhaan later do unity she sees that Scorpy is in him and then he knocks her out and flees. Aeryn goes after him and they fly over some ice but when she doesn’t realise, he changes course and attacks her from above making her have to jump out of her seat. Then she falls into the ice and Crichton realised what he did and everyone sees her die.
Her funeral scene was very sad but beautiful. She gets put into one of those things that keep her body. They all say goodbye, and then it’s time for Crichton to get his ship out of his brain.
It was very exciting when the healer looked into Crichton’s brain and chose what memories to cut out and which not. When he’s done, Scorpy suddenly bounces in, the healer was working for him and gets murdered by Scorpy’s germs. Scorpy lets Crichton live but takes away the wormhole memory and Crichton can’t even speak normal anymore.
The episode was a brilliant end and very sad to see Aeryn get buried, even though I know she’s going to be brought back.
