It showcased some of Australia's great talent and Hilarious actors with many memorable characters such as Pixie Anne Wheatley and Mary McGregor. It was later revamped and became full frontal, and then totally full frontal and ended. Some of it's actors are still acting in Australian Comedy including the Kath & Kim Stars.moreless

This highly successful Australian comedy series was a near perfect sketch comedy program. Strong cast, good writing, high production values, innovative direction and a killer concept which held everything together. Question - what's one thing TV audiences have in common? Answer - television! Television was the main theme of this 1 hour weekly sketch series, therefore providing immediate subject matter which its audience could relate to. In addition to that the program would flick from one sketch to the next like a remote control, which reinforced the premise, helped hold the interest of its MTV generation audience, disguised the weaker sketches, and increased the number of running jokes. All in all a fantastic series which was arguably the backbone to Steve Vizard's financial empire. Oh well, you can't win them all.moreless
