It reminded me of the movie Outbreak. I wonder if the bird flu hit here in America, if that’s how people would act. Would people be more civilized? Or would they act crazy? Would it kill as many people as it showed in the movie? I'm probable being paranoid, but I know I'm not the only person with these questions.

Before and after the show, they announce that it is currently not transmissible from person to person. Bird flu has killed only 125 people or so the last three years. The Slate article from previous posting stated that "The last three years, at least 6 million people worldwide have died of diarrheal diseases, with about 1.5 million of those deaths attributed to rotavirus, which has spread in pandemic fashion. Yet the panic button has been pushed only for bird flu." Why? I'm not saying to completely dismiss this thing, but there are other things to worry about.
