  • This is a fine episode for the series. This episode features Donkey from Shrek. This series keeps getting funnier with every episode.

    10
When Larry goes to Hunter’s school for a presentation for career day, it doesn’t go as hoped. In order to please his son, he says he knows Donkey from Shrek. But when everyone demands he bring him in to school the following day, he realises it was a stupid thing to say. By promising to bring him in the next day, he ensures Hunter’s popularity for the moment, but it isn’t going to be long before he finds out his dad doesn’t really know Donkey, so Sarmoti decides for the good of his grandson, to help Larry and Snack kidnap Donkey. There’s only one way something like this can go. Pear shaped.

    • Donkey: (to Larry) You know how many times I had to hear "Donkey's an ass. Donkey's an ass" Alright I get it! They're synonyms. I hate synonyms Larry!

  • NOTES (4)

    • Eddie Murphy reprises his role as Donkey from the films Shrek, Shrek 3-D, Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third.

    • When NBC reran this episode at 8:30 on October 12, the pan shot of Seigfried's and Grandma Wilson's clothing thrown on the floor is replaced with a shot of the exterior of the house.

    • Ironically, the actor who performed the voice of Jermece, Donkey's look-alike, was Mark Moseley, who is Eddie Murphy's SOUND-alike.

    • The guy in the white shirt with red arms and a baseball cap who was duplicated ten times in the audience (see goofs for "Larry Debut and Sweet Darryl Hannah Too") makes a more visable appearence as one of the spectators watching S&R's protest of the Bed and Breakfast.
