There used to be a thread here a fair time ago about the possibility of ABC buying father of the pride from Fox, does anyone know anything new about this?

Yes, I think Father of the Pride will be brought back on the ABC network later in 2006. ABC is willing to pay 1.6 million per episode. It is being discussed between Dreamworks Animation and the ABC Network. If you also find out any thing please contact me so I can inform the press. Thanks!!! I hope that abc bought father of the pride. I want to ask if father of the pride will arrived to spain. The series has arrived to France, UK and Germany... but in spain nothing. Then the new is confirmed, father of the pride can be bought for abc... it's great.

It's not certain but Dreamworks Animation Studios are discussing the issue with the ABC Television Network. I would Strongly advise anyone who is in favor of the series to comeback, the make up a petition of somesort to create more favor for the show to comeback. No, this show is canceled. Sad to say, but the ratings and the amount of money brought in was not what NBC was looking for. Also the DVDs didn't sell that well so as far as the networks are concerned this show never exsisted.

I heard that Dreamworks were supposed to be making a spin off of Over the Hedge if it was a success, instead of making another series of FotP

i hope they make more eppisodes cause i love the show, i do not know anything about the channels cause i am over here in england.

No i didnt like Over the Hedge i think Father of the Pride is fantastic and have the entire season on DVD.

Even if the cgi eps are too expensive, even the storyboard eps looked good on the dvd...they could just do hand-drawn animation. There's plenty humorous, adult-themed animated shows. Put it on Adult Swim.
