It had David Spade. Hero of Joe Dirt.
It had Danny Devito. Teacher off the Renassiance Man
It had Eddie Murphy. Hero of Shrek.
It had Siegfried and Roy.
What the he^* made someone sure that they wanted to cancel this show of gods.
It was hilarious. It was witty. It had some gay dudes with trained lions. That my friends....is all you need.
Someone tell me why this show failed.

It didn't fail by any means.

It was the audience members that couldn't get it through their thick skulls that animation isn't just for kids and
immediately dismissed it as another kids cartoon; but when the kids actually watched, it was turned off the instant Chimmy and Changa locked tongues.

The show didn't fail my friend, the audience however, failed at life.

2)and plus they didnt have enough episodes finished by the first airing

It took 9 months to make 1 episode so the show wasnt given enough time to reach its peak.

Father of the pride didn't fail by any means, the only problems were that it took to long to make episodes, it was too expensive and also the fact they decided to air it first in america - big mistake!!! It was a hit in the UK and in most of europe (where it was shown). The reason why it failed in american is (no offence) americans just don't get good humour!!. Come on, they thought that friends was better than this show - nowhere close.

Offence?! I'm an american and even I know that my country lacks a sense of humour...but then again, Bush got elected TWICE so I dunno.

I think it was becausse John Goodman (Larry) died. Also the cost and time of 1 episode.

There we so many episode ideas they never had a chance to do, like revealing that Sarmoti really WASN'T from "Ahffff-rica", or addressing Victoria's drinking problem and exploring the depths to which she'd sink just to get some alcohol.

It failed because the fatcats at NBC thought it was failing, and cancelled it.
