  • This is an amazingly well written episode, where they can create conflict for Larry on all levels. (Internal, personal, and extra-personal.) This episode is hugely funny and the plot keeps you going all the time. We also see Hunter exposed as an ususual cmoreless

When Larry and Kate realise there isn’t enough excitement left in their marriage, Larry snoops around Blake and Victoria’s house at a party and steals their new big screen TV. When Victoria calls round, Kate lies about the TV to be able to do something exciting with her husband. Their little escapade creates a huge manhunt for the thief in the neighbourhood, Larry is appointed head of neighbourhood watch.

Meanwhile, Sarmoti has found out that Hunter is being bullied at school, and decides to teach him to be an African warrior lion.

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • NOTES (2)

    • Hunter debating with himself on whether or not to kill grampa is like when Golum debated with himself on whether or not to kill Frodo in Lord of the Rings.

    • Although not directly identified as such, it would seem safe to assume that the shunned tiger playing ping pong who 'broke the rule of law' is supposed to represent the tiger who attacked Roy Horn in October 2003.

    • During one of their robbing raids, Larry and Kate wear George Bush and Richard Nixon masks much like the robbers in the Keanu Reeves movie Point Blank.

    • At the neighborhood watch meeting, there is a subtle reference to the tiger that mauled Roy. He talks about the rule of law and then says "We all remember what happened to a certain Tiger." And then points towards a white tiger who is playing Table Tennis by himself and sobbing.
