Dougal: Ready Ted? Let's do it!
Ted: Dougal, don't take it so seriously, it's just a bit of fun.
(Scene jumps forward to some time later. Room is filled with smoke and there is a cigarette hanging out of a stressed out Ted's mouth)Ted: Just play the fecking note!
Dougal: The first one?
Ted:(frantic screaming) No not the fecking first one! The fecking first one's already fecking down! Just play the fecking note you were fecking playing earlier! I've been playing the fecking first one! We have the fecking first one!
Ted:(after playing "My Lovely Horse" to Father Jack and Mrs. Doyle) Well, what do you think, in general?
(Father Jack pulls out a rifle and shoots Ted's guitar)Ted: Right.
"My Lovely Horse" Lyrics:
My lovely horse,
running through the field.
Where are you going,
with your fetlocks blowing in the wind?
I want to shower you with sugar lumps,
and ride you over fences.
Polish your hooves every single day,
and bring you to the horse dentist.
My lovely horse,
you're a pony no more.
Running around with a man on your back,
like a train in the night
like a train in the night...

According to the writer's commentary, the video for "My Lovely Horse" was based on a 1970s lifestyle video for the Swarbrigs Song "That's What Friends are For," which they claim is the funniest music video of all time. Some of the shots are even copied down to every last detail (e.g. Ted's chest hair still dry when they are in the swiming pool)
Dougal: ...like Nelson Mandela and his mad wife.-- refers to the former South African president and his wife, Winnie, who had faced various charges of murder, kidnapping, and funeral insurance fraud.
Ted: ...like that Icy Tea and Scoopy Scoopy Dog Dog-- refers to the American rap artists Ice-T and Snoop Dogg (also known at first as Snoop Doggy Dogg.)
