Ted performs a genuinely unselfish act, and is rewarded with the offer of a parish in California - his wildest dreams come true. • Its a shame this is a last episode but I can't think of any other way to end the series.

This may be the final episode but its still funny and is cleverly well written. Going To America this was the break he needed but feeling guilty of leave Father Dougal, Father Jack and of course Mrs. Doyle and of course the fact that he discovers that the job isn't what he thought it was brings him home. Where he can stay for ever and ever and ever.................
This is a brilliant way to end the series it was probably the best way to end the show and without recking it. Overall this episode is sad but funnny at the same time!moreless
