Fear Factor

Stunt #1 (Buried alive)
Dave & Jennifer, a divorced couple, were up first against Chad & Lacey, who were dating. Once the ladies were buried, the men started digging furiously. Dave was digging faster, but Chad gave up on the shovel and used his hands. Chad got Lacey out first, and Lacey got the key before Dave could get Jennifer out of the coffin. Bobby & Stacey and Clayton & Shanti, both dating couples, were next. Shanti was freaking out in the coffin but Stacey remained calm. As soon as Clayton got the top of the coffin exposed, Shanti pushed up on the lid and they got it open. Shanti had trouble finding the key, but managed to get it before Bobby could get Stacey out. For the last race, dating couple Paulo & Giulianna were up against Kareem & Twana, who had recently broken up. Kareem just pushed the dirt off to the side while Paulo was getting it out of the grave. Working together, Paulo & Giulianna managed to get the top off and get the key before Kareem could get Twana out of the coffin. Dave & Jennifer, Bobby & Stacey, and Kareem & Twana were up for elimination.

The vote would take place at the beginning of the next stunt, but first the couples would be checking into the Bates Motel. They walked in to discover that it was not as nice as it had appeared in the movies. The bed sheets were filthy, and there were holes in the walls so large that all the couples were essentially staying in the same room. They tried to get some sleep before the next stunt.

Stunt #2 (Snake Water Escape)
Before the stunt started, the three winning couples from the last stunt got to vote off the couple of their choice. They unanimously voted off Bobby & Stacey since they were considered the biggest competition among those up for elimination. Since Chad & Lacey had the best time in the first stunt, they were exempt from this stunt and automatically advanced. Paulo & Giulianna were first. As Giulianna went under first and started cutting, Paulo watched to see where she cut. She broke one rope and Paulo picked up where she left off when he went under. He broke two ropes and was able to make it through the hole. Giulianna also made it through for a final time of 32 seconds. Kareem & Twana were second. Twana was cutting through ropes on her turns, but Kareem was cutting with the wrong side of the blade. They finally made it through in 2:24. Clayton & Shanti were next. Every time it was Shanti's turn to cut, she would immediately resurface and hand the knife off to Clayton. This strategy did not pay off. Around one minute in, Shanti swam through, but the hole was too small for Clayton. He had to find the knife on the floor of the tank, and then cut a few more ropes. He got trough in 1:56. Dave & Jennifer were last. Jennifer cut two ropes on her first breath, and Dave grabbed two ropes at a time and cut through. They got through in 1:12. Clayton & Shanti and Kareem & Twana were up for elimination. The other three couples would be voting. Once again, the vote was unanimous. They all voted for Kareem & Twana because they considered Twana too competitive.

Home Invasion Stunt (Bobbing for squid)
Robert, the dad, would be retrieving the squid and his daughters would be holding them. He had only retrieved 4 squid when time ran out. Joe said that if his wife Phyllis could retrieve the last squid, they would still win the money. She agreed to do it. She came up without one on her first try, but went back in and retrieved it, winning $5,000 for her family.
