Felicity: felicity end question

i don't know if i'll get an answer to this soon since this forum seems to be dead but i hope someone writes back soon!
i just wanted to know if the last fourth season of felicity is worth getting. see, i'm watching through the show the first time and i love it. i've already read spoilers that she does end up with ben at the end [yay, i'm rooting for them!] but they break up and stuff because she slept with noel. and i just... i really really really hate how that sleeping with the old boyfriend plotline is always thrown into shows and just messes up the one true pair lol. is season 4 just stupid like that? and what do you all think of those last five time travel episode things?
i guess what i'm really asking is does the finale end with ben and felicity nicely? or leave you hanging? that sort of thing....

Well, if you're a strict Bencity fan, then you might not like the first few episodes of season 4. But at the same time, season 4 could be better than season 3(depending on how you feel). Both season 3 and 4 were pretty sucktastic but I still watched the show.

It ends with Ben and Felicity real nicely. I don't want to spoil it. It's not the PERFECT ending, but it's nice. As for the time travel episodes... trife! I didn't like them at all, but they had some funny times. Ben was completely OOC(out of character) but in a good way. And plus, you get to see Julie again. I like her, so that was a plus.

firetears- thanks for writing back, i know the forum's kinda dead.
more question... i've already read through the episode recaps so i'm spoiled lol. SO, felicity and ben are engaged at the end of s4 [after the horrible beginning to that season haha] but felicity learns from megan's spell that in the future, ben would cheat on her, right? SO, she goes back in time and then decides to be with noel since she knows ben's action in the future and how he would hurt her.
BUT, in the end, after she reveals that she's from the future and ben apologizes in advance for his action, she comes back to the present, right? what does he apologize for? and they get back togehter so does that mean he would still cheat on her in the time to come? i'm confused about that haha.
please write back!

Felicity and Ben were never engaged. Not even at the end, so I have no idea where that spoiler came from. Anyway, Felicity didn't learn through any spell that Ben WOULD cheat on her. Ben had already cheated on her. In the time travel episodes, Elena had died and Felicity was in an emotional turmoil and didn't do anything with Ben or their new friend. Soon enough, Felicity found out Ben was cheating on her when she saw them kissing. Then, she went back to New York for Noel's wedding. Felicity was wishing how she had chose Noel back then and so Mehgan did a spell that would take her back in time.

Like so, Felicity went back in time and chose Noel over Ben. While she was in the past, Ben had told her he would never cheat on her and he's sorry if he did but he knows he can never live his life without her. Then, when she went back into the present, Ben told her the exact same thing. So she forgave him. But it doesn't make any sense because Elena was still alive when she went back to the present(not to mention that Elena wasn't hardly in the time travel episodes). So it's like Felicity wouldn't have been emotionally disabled and Ben wouldn't have had any reason to cheat on her. Trust me, the time travel episodes are just a big old stupid mistake. Other than that, season 4 was more or less on the same plain as season 3. But if you're watching Felicity strictly for the Bencity, then that's kind of... blatant. Don't cha think?

They were engaged briefly. Ben proposed to Felicity right before their graduation, but then it fizzled away when he decided to move to Arizona.

Seriously? I honestly don't remember an engagement at all. Maybe it was a semi-mutual pre-engagement agreement type of situation. In which episode did he propose? I'm gonna have to watch it again. Was it Graduation?

yup, the graduate. he asks her in bed and they're engaged and then he gets a call that lauren's having the baby and he goes to her. and then comes back and then decides he's going to arizona and she says how she can't keep following him... you know the story from there haha.

As a note about the Elena thing - If you watch the commentaries on the dvds, they explain why she's suddenly alive in the end. They had to cut something for running length, and Elena's scenes were the easiest to cut out. Essentially what happened is that when Felicity went back in time, she flipped out on Elena and told her not to go to Columbia, but that she gets accepted to Duke, and she should go there (therefore never being in the accident). Elena does go to Duke, isn't in the accident, and ends up running into Tracy there, where they get back together.

Makes a lot more sense now, huh? lol.

wait im confused i havent seen season 4 since it was on...does ben move to arizona and felicity doesnt follow? i thought they ended up together

Hey there! Yesterday, I finished Felicity, and I'm telling you that it's really really a perfect show. I just watched it so fast!

I loved all the episodes, even the time travel episodes!

I already miss Meghan and Felicity, and Sean and Ben, Noel! So much to say about this incredible series!

BTW, I think that the reason they killed off Elena was because she wasn't getting too much attention on season 4. If you notice, she doesn't appear too often after the wedding thing. It's sad, because I loved her and I missed her in the final season!

Anyway, it's great! I decided to watch 1 episode per day, so I will never forget this show.

The last episode is so emotional. The flashbacks, the scene where Felicity is doing the spell and then the wedding scene! They are all celebrating their friendship.

But like Sarah McLachlan said,
