Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • The word "Hey" was used 11 times during this episode.

    • When Noel and Hanna are making out, he unbuttons her shirt before a cut to the scene with Felicity and Eli in the art studio. When the show cuts back to Noel and Hanna, her shirt is buttoned up again and he unbuttons it a second time.

    • Noel, on his envelope to give back the tape, writes "Hanna." Apparently, the folks at Buena Vista screwed up on the DVD, because on the summary of the episode on the back of the second DVD case, it says "Hannah."

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Felicity: Uh, excuse me, Abby?
      Abby: Yes, Felicity?
Felicity: You probably know this, I'm sure you do, but our old manager, Javier, actually did employee evaluations on all of us.
Abby: You're right. I do know that. But remarks like, "a real cutie patootie," and "when he makes a mochachino I get all tingly," were hard to quantify.

    • Ben: (to Felicity) Noel would never choose to be with somebody else when he could be with you.

    • Julie: What are you doing?
      Felicity: Spying. Blatantly spying.

  • NOTES (1)

    • The jazz musician says in his lyrics, "A plague on both your houses." This is of course a famous line from the Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet. Guest star Dash Mihok played Benvolio in the 1996 movie Romeo + Juliet.

    • Noel: Yeah, right, I know, like 'Chelsea Morning.'

"Chelsea Morning" is a song written by Joni Mitchell which first appeared on her album Clouds in 1969. It's one of Mitchell's best-known songs and has been recorded by artists such as Neil Diamond and Judy Collins. Former President Bill Clinton was so fond of it that he and his wife Hillary named their daughter Chelsea.
