Fergus and Penny are getting married. Penny wants a registry office affair as her first attempt at marriage ended in disaster. Mrs Walsh, however, has already organised for the family priest, Father Kieran, to do the honours. Father Kieran calls a surprised Fergus to talk about the wedding plans while Fergus is showing a new couple around the swingers club. Fergus finds himself in the middle trying to please everyone. Penny finally relents and agrees to a church wedding, employs Lorraine a wedding planner, of Perfect Day Productions who discusses wedding motifs with Penny. Fergus and Penny ask Gráinne, Fergus's sister who was jilted at the alter three years previously, to be her bridesmaid, and Penny, her friend Fiona and Grainne attend their first dress fitting....hear the audio Fergus asks his friend and financial advisor, Dermot, to be his best man. Penny and Fergus want to buy a new house, however Dermot seems overly intent on 'protecting' the money that Fergus has invested with him and won't release it. Nevertheless, the two go to an auction for the house of their dreams where Penny goes overboard on their bid, Fergus is annoyed but they make up later that evening at the swingers club. Next day Fergus visits Dermot at his office to talk money. Dermot is adamant that Fergus's investment would be best left with him for another year. While jogging in the park at lunchtime Fergus tells Dermot that he is sterile. Dermot, while surprised by this news is sidetracked by a stitich, which is rapidly followed by a massive "bluey".
