Episode Summary

Ethnic Myths

With the Mirth Makers off playing a wedding in Akron, Happy renders the theme on solo clarinet. Barth (on acoustic guitar) and Happy (on piano) perform a musical ode to Fernwood. Virgil Simms, auto mechanic and local daredevil, promotes a forthcoming stunt: jumping over bikes in a fully equipped Winnebago. Anthropologist Dr. Emanuel Kazinski presents his latest findings on racial prejudice; a behavior he is obviously not immune from. *Despite being listed in the show's opening credits, Harold Clemens does not appear in the episode. He does appear in Episode 58.
