AIRED:
Newly hired Barth Gimble starts the show off by talking about his unusual day-to-day contract as host. After some banter with the show's announcer, Jerry Hubbard, Barth introduces his first guest, Howard Palmer, a pianist with an iron lung. Mayor Merle Jeeter stops by to welcome Barth and then Happy and the band perform their version of Shake Your Booty. In Talk to a Jew, Morton Rose, a Jew, answers caller's questions such as, "When is Barbra Streisand's next movie coming out?" Dr. Osgood ends the show with his findings about carcinogenic synthetic fibers.
