Man of the Match:
Daniel Agger (Denmark)
Denmark Striker Nicklas Bendtner: Obviously I'm happy with the victory and to have contributed to it with a goal, but we can't be satisfied with the way we played. We're now in the position we'd hoped to be in, with our destiny in our own hands. We need to beat Japan to qualify, but if we were able to defeat a good team like Cameroon tonight, I don't see why we won't be able to beat the Japanese, even if we know it'll be difficult.
Denmark Coach Morten Olsen: We didn't start well and we made a mistake that Cameroon pounced on. We demonstrated that we had desire and a good attitude. We made mistakes that we just can't repeat in this tournament and Cameroon could have punished useven more heavily than they did. It was hard for us to get the ball back and we'll have to improve on that in the future. We were surprised by their tactical set-up, but we reacted well. I was angry when I left the pitch because we made too many straightforward errors. We still need to improve.
Cameroon Coach Paul Le Guen: I think what we lacked was efficiency in front of goal. We had an enormous amount of very clear chances and we failed to put them away. We were clumsy with our finishing, but I feel that we gave everything we could tonight. We did what we could on the pitch.
