Spain was stunned in their last match against Switzerland. Spain is a country where soccer runs in the blood of its people, whereas in Switzerland chocolate runs in the blood of the people.

Horrible joke aside, this was a solid 2010 FIFA World Cup game. Spain got two big goals, and while it certainly was not the 7 its neighboring country, Portugal, put up earlier in the day to get the win over Korea, it was more than enough to put away Honduras.

The World Cup will now move to 4 games a day for the next three days. That is just splendid for fans!moreless

    • Spain Coach Vicente del Bosque: Yes, we created a lot of goalscoring situations and we ought to have won by more goals, but I'm not totally happy - once again our finishing was off. What's more, I felt that we were too open and very vulnerable, and if we play like that against Chile we could be made to suffer.

    • Honduras Coach Reinaldo Rueda: The idea was to get the ball off Spain and try and feed our forwards, and we had two or three chances but we weren't clinical enough to score. I'm expecting another difficult game against Switzerland, although it will be very different to the one today. We'll now have to see if the players can bounce back mentally and go out and give their all to end on a high for the good of Honduran football.

    • Honduras Defender Osman Chavez: We went down fighting. We came up against a great national side and I think that we did pretty well – it's no mean feat to make a team of their caliber sweat. So, even though we lost, I think we've got something to be pleased about.
