Every true Fillmore Fan should see this great episode. Well written, good dialogue, good characters, this was THE Fillmore episode.
The plot is about Everett, an AAH, attempting to get back his virtual pet Duappy, with assistance of Fillmore and Ingrid. The primary suspect is Lorraine Almaden...but the Safety Patrol doubts this...
Also the announcer casts his voice in it to say "Will Fillmore find out who stole Duappy???". I'm a hick. There are many other characters involved including Mr. Almaden, Mrs. Konquist, Mandee, Biana, Nancy Cook, two store employees, singers and several others.
Also it has a very surprising ending...

Virtual Pets: Virtual pets were a craze in late 1996, all of 1997, and early 1998. The best ones were Tamagotchis and Giga Pets. Most pets only lasted 2 to 3 weeks.
