The Shreds Fell Like Snowflakes

Season 2, Episode 2, Aired

Episode Summary

Vallejo's nearing his second term test for Junior Commissioner, and in the meantime, a crime crops up involving 'The Shredder'- an anonymous criminal who shreds people's pet projects. Here's the catch - not a single one of the victims saw the Shredder's face. This seems like a job for Vallejo's old profiler partner, Frank Bishop, who was driven from the Safety Patrol in disgrace. He deduces that the Shredder is hitting students from the Drama Club in alphabetical order - and his own sister, Francine, is next on the list. However, maybe these shredding incidents aren't all they appear to be...moreless

    • Trivia

      ADD TRIVIA
      • Frank doesn't have his sash during Vallejo's flashbacks, but has it on in his file photo at the end of the episode. Edit
      • In 'Ingrid Third: Public Enemy Number One', Fillmore claims that he spent his first two months of middle school in detention, which meant he was a delinquent for two months. So that means he would've joined the Safety Patrol while he was still in the 6th grade, so he might've known about Vallejo's 'rotten' partners (Malika and Frank) back then. Edit

      • Act Titles for this episode:

        Act I: Slivers of Truth
Act II: Old Friend, New Foes
Act III: Race to Salvation Edit
      • When Fillmore and Ingrid look inside Frank's room, one of the newspaper articles reads: "Rock Hard Abs in 10 Days". Edit
    • Quotes

      ADD QUOTES
      • Bishop: Who in the whosits are you? Edit
      • Vallejo: [about Frank's profiling skills] He was the best - just by looking at his shoe print he could tell you what the perp had for breakfast! Edit
      • Principal Folsom: Let's see, things I'd like to see shredded...beef for loose meat sandwiches, any paperwork documenting my weight or age, oh, and one other thing, YOUR BADGE IF I DON'T SEE RESULTS! Edit
    • Allusions

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Frank Bishop the Profiler:
The profiler brought on to help in the case was named Frank Bishop. The profiler in the TV show Millenium was named Frank Black. This same actor (Lance Henrickson) played the android Bishop in the movie Aliens. "Frank", "Bishop", profiler -- a coincidence? [I think not! Nice catch! - rackstraw] Edit
      • Science Fair: Baking Soda Volcano
At the science fair next to the chocolate chip maker, you can see a volcano model with the sign "Mt. Cliche," as you see baking soda volcanos at practically every science fair. (They usually don't score well.) Edit
