Finders Keepers (UK)

Show Summary

Based on the popular American show, Finders Keepers sent two teams into a house made up of Mum & Dads bedroom, Bathroom, Kids bedroom, Fantasy/Mystery room, Store/Utility/Garden room, Kitchen, Living room and study. The teams competing against the clock and one another had to find hidden objects within the rooms to gain points. The winning team would then go through to the Supersearch round, were they had to raid all eight rooms within a time frame (4 minutes in the 1991-1998 version, 3 minutes in the 2006 version) to get a super prize. The original series ran from 1991 through to 1998, and was hosted by Neil Buchanan, who was joined by Diane Youdale in 1998. The show was originally produced by TVS for it's first year, but then production changed hands to Scottish TV, when the show returned a year later in 1993. In 2006, CiTV attempted to revive the show with ex-reality TV star, Jeff Brazier. The show wasn't as a big a hit as intended, and was moved from it's 4.30pm Friday slot to a live segment in Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown and it's last airing was on the CiTV channel on April 14th 2006. This series was produced by The Foundation.moreless
