Anyone interested in seeing a second season of Firefly should check this site out, www.fireflyseason2.com. They're looking for a show of support from all fans of the series and have a quick anonymous questionaire for you to fill out. I personally loved the series, and would do near anything to see a second season. If you feel the same, check out the site, if you don't... well... screw you

If you go to the site you fill out this thing, esentially it's sort of like a petition to get Firefly up and running again.

I filled it out but I can't see it making much difference, no matter how much I want it to.

I'm all for more Firefly, but the 10 people you'd need the most are the nine cast members and Joss Whedon. If they're not on board I don't think all the petitions in the world will help.

Online petitions don't do much of anything unfortunately... While that hasn't stopped me before in the case of Firefly, I think lennydonkey is right. All the signatures in the world wont bring the show back unless all of the cast and crew are on board with it.

Yea. The chances of getting a second season is probably slim to none. But what the heck--I procrastinate enough over the internet anyway and who knows...I enjoyed Firefly so much, I'm willing to waste a few minutes on it to answer a bunch of questions.

I Just got into the show, bought it on Blu-Ray, same goes for the Movie. I really like the show, and was disappointed find out that they didnt come back with a second season (did like the movie, but dont know if you'd really call it a second season) wish there was some way to get them back, oh yeah and i was a little said for Wash.

The fireflyseason2.com site is down, but

I did manage to find this on Wikipedia (Serenity) Though: On October 4, 2007, Alan Tudyk suggested in an interview that Universal was considering another film due to DVD sales. Although Joss Whedon later discounted Tudyk's statement as being "wishful thinking", Tudyk is still hopeful a sequel will be made.

That doesn't count for much, especially considering Alan would probably not be involved at all.

I wish Firefly had been given a second season, not Dollhouse

Yeah I agree, although I like Dollhouse. I'd much rather have another season of Firefly. Firefly did a better job of creating characters you care for.

The survey was closed when I tried it. .

I was given the Firefly DVDs as a gift last December by a very thoughtful friend for my birthday who is a fan and thought I might like it as well. I watched it once at the time, then decided to take my disks with me on vacation a couple weeks ago. I think he created a monster--I'm a HUGE FAN NOW. I cannot believe they canceled this show! Not as pretty as Babylon 5 or Crusade (another great show cancelled before it finished season 1), but it grows on you! It's amazing that after the success of the movie they aren't interested in making the series for cable. The reevers scare the hell out of me, but I love the main cast. I was so upset when Wash died. He, Kaylee, Inora, and Simon are my favorite characters. Alan was great in A Knights Tale and did such a great job as Wash. I really hope they change their mind and make more firefly. This was a show that should have never been cancelled!
