Since I've not seen the topic anywhere on here, I decided to start one. These are just some things I've noticed I started doing after I started watching Firefly, so I decided to compile a list of things. Feel free to add on.

    - 'gorram' is a part of your daily vocabulary
    - you feel an urge to swear/say something in Chinese when something frustrates/annoys you
    - quotes from Firefly find their way into your daily conversation
    - you explain "Shiny!" when something fascinates/interests/amazes you
    - you name your car 'Serenity'
    - threaten to to kill people with your brain
    - you have printed off the scripts of each episode
    - you know what happened in every episode off by heart
    - you always find a way to lead a conversation to Firefly
    - you're convicned you're a "browncoat"
    - you've convinced others you're a "browncoat"

Great list! Here's mine (all of these are done by me or one of my friends)

    1. After hearing about Serenity Day, you plan an elaborate campaign for your own town (involving a day devoted to each character the last two weeks of school)

    2. Your lunch table randomly breaks out into "Ballad of Serenity" at least once a week

    3. Your desk in french class is a shrine to Firefly/Serenity quotes

    4. You search for Jayne's hat

    5. Chinatown is your new favorite place to shop

I'll probably think of more later.

"Ballad of Serenity" has not only made it onto your iPod, but it's the most played

I definitely agree with what's been said about "shiny" and "gorram" entering your vocabulary. I try to stop myself before letting any of those words fly, because I know whoever I'm around won't get it. And if I try to explain the significance of "shiny" to a non-Browncoat, they'll just think I'm weird. You've probably all had that same experience!

I hadn't realised I was saying "Shiny!" until a friend of mine pointed it out to me. He just went "Stop quoting Firefly!". By that time I've only seen a few episodes though.

The 'gorram' slipped once or twice, and now it's pretty much a part of my daily vocabulary.. Go figure.

I do find myself quoting or referring to Firefly quite often, which is sort of scary considering I've seen each episode only once. I'm probably going to be a walking Firefly Wikipedia after i watch everything again. Not that it's a bad thing mind you.

I sometimes mention the geese juggling, and me and my brother say: "And we shall call it... this land" every now and then.

you know you watch too much Firefly when:

whenever you finish a difficult task you end it by saying "we have done the impossible, and that makes us mighty"
when want that gun that Mal has on his side...jeez, that thing is cool.
When you tell someone that their best is "no ruttin good!"
you call your nemesis at work/school Saffron
you call your love interest at work/school Inara
    you call your boss/teacher Badger
you call your sister 'Mei Mei' (chinese for love)
when you learn to play the ballad of Serenity on your guitar
You still think that Firefly can return as a tv show
or that you trick yourself into thinking when you put a Firefly dvd on: its in regular syndication.
you posted in this thread and got everything that was said.

-when you are preparing to go out on stage, jokingly start chanting "I'm a leaf on the wind" to calm down, and then
a)suddenly start hoping there are no giant spikes in the area and
b)EVERYONE around you recognizes what you're talking about.

Well, maybe the second part isn't so bad

I had that problem. Then my friends and I started a rather successful conversion process. We've now a lot of friends and family members. The show is just so addicting! The only person I know who ever saw Firefly/Serenity and didn't like it was my sister. Still can't believe we're related
