  • Oscar ends up at a castle tank

When Oscar is late for school and knocked out he is transfered to another tank which he thinks is a dream. Meanwhile, Bea and Milo try to find Oscar and one the way run into a lot of Oscar Looking fish. I thought this episode was perfect. I didn't got bored at any parts at all so I'll give credit for that score. The plot was original and funny. Original because the plot was very good. Funny because Oscar dream about the castle and he thinks it a dream. Also, Ron (who looks like Oscar) was very funny. It was funny when Bea and Milo try to look for Oscar and they kept finding fake Oscars. As I said before, Oscar dreaming about his fantasy was very funny and interesting. Overall this episode gets a perfect score 10/10.moreless

So yeah, Oscar is pushed around and he is wshy and etc, and he only feels confident in spme medieval land he imagines and draws. One day at the bus stop, he is KO ed and he wakes up in a medieval town, identical to the one he imagines. There he meets hunchback Milo & King stickler. HE imagines he is Sir Oscar Fish, so he goes around doing brave stuff and then King Stickler wanrts him to free the princess ffrom a dragon. He thinks the princess is Bea, so he goes. Meanwhile Milo & Bea look for OScar, and find him on the medieval tank and go get him. OScar finds out the princess is a meideval Clamantha, and his friends tell him he is not unconsous. Other people have said this cartoon series wasn't worth watching, but I think those other people are wrong! Just because the world within "Fish Hooks" operates on different principles from our world, that doesn't mean the problems the characters face or the situations they encounter don't have some merit in our world. For instance, Oscar longs to be a brave and chivalrous man like knights in the Middle Ages, but Oscar's deep rooted fear of public speaking, standing up for himself, or even having the courage to admit his feelings for his long time girl friend but not girlfriend Bea always leaves him paralyzed with fear and shame. Until one day, Oscar unexpectedly and accidentally runs face first into a stop sign and gets knocked out. When Milo comes to, he sees all the fancy castles, Elizabethan outfits, and shiny armor he has always fantasized about in his diaries, even though he's convinced that he must be dreaming. But when Bea and Milo come upon the stop sign Oscar ran into, they find it's not Oscar there, but a fish named Ron who bares an uncanny resemblance to Oscar. Ron witnessed what happened to Oscar. After Oscar fainted, he got scooped up by the shop-keeper, but when Oscar moved unconsciously, Oscar was plunked safely into another fresh-water tank, which happens to be the place where Oscar is seeing his 16th century fantasy/reality! While Bea, Milo, and hanger-on Ron search from tank to tank trying to find Oscar only to keep running into fish that just look like Oscar, the genuine article Oscar decides that as long as he is 'dreaming,' he can live out his fantasy of being brave. Oscar conquers public speaking, stands up for himself, and helps improve the life of the aquatic subjects who live their 16th century life. The only thing Oscar needs to truly be a hero is slay the dreaded dragon fish and rescue the Princess! But Oscar is really surprised to see the Princess resembles not Bea, but Clamantha! A girl he absolutely CAN'T stand! It's then Bea and Milo finally find Oscar and Oscar realizes with dread that he is looking at potential, actual death in a dragon fish that's not afraid to eat a would-be hero for breakfast. Fortunately, Bea has come prepared with a plan. She orders Oscar to stand his ground and distract the dragon fish while all the look-alike Oscar fish swarm, overwhelm, and finally conquer the dragon fish! By not running away, Oscar realizes true courage is standing up for what is important to him despite being afraid. And Ron selflessly takes the Clamantha Princess for his own! 8)moreless
