    "Montauk with Jim Jarmusch"

The first episode of Fishing With John shows John Lurie and director Jim Jarmusch (Down By Law, Ghost Dog) fishing for shark outside of Montauk, Long Island. The great thing about this show is the fact that Lurie is the conversations between Lurie and his guests. Often hilarious and always entertaining, they really set the show apart from any other type of fishing show. The show's strength is surely it's conversations between Lurie and his friends and this episode is no different. Jarmusch and Lurie share a few interesting stories about fishing, one specifically about whether or not fishing is immoral or not.

"Montauk with Jim Jarmusch" is a solid first episode, funny and interesting. This is definitely a show not to be missed. Highlight: After waiting three hours for the shark to come after the bait they set, they try a new plan which involves Jarmusch holding a piece of cheese above the water while Lurie waits with a gun. Sadly though, it doesn't work.
