    I honestly don't understand what the writers of this series are thinking. It's all just too formulaic. Two sisters, both witches, one evil, one good. I mean, it's straight out of the "Wizard of Oz". It's like there are no more original storylines left, yet looking at other series, Dexter, Pushing Daisies, or Battlestar Galactica demonstrates that this is not the case. There are new, original stories, just not in Flash Gordon.

    The evil possession storyline is usually fun to watch and this one doesn't disappoint. I'm sure the actress playing Dale got a kick out of playing a new, possessed, Dale and it showed. I've stated before that I don't think the actors are at fault over the state of Flash Gordon and this episode shows it again. The actors do a good job of what is, at best, a mediocre script. Portraying Zarkov, a scientific genius, as a bungling fool just does not make sense. Joe, a smart cop, freaking out and telling everyone about Mongo only to be convinced otherwise in the space of this episode does not make sense at all either.moreless

    More adventures in being captured and held in Mongo. This time Joe being the cause for rescue. This episode was dumb I mean first off the worst cgi i've seen on tv in a long time and second of all. Gee your from another world and your on a hostile planet should you really be just snapping pictures? Then we have Dale being possessed which i'm sure hasn't happened before but felt strangely familiar. The episode ended in a cheesetacular fight between two witches and Joe fully on board to help flash and friends. If you watch this show you shouldn't be aiming too high so on that note it wasn't a horrible edition of Flash Gordon.moreless

    After watching the first 10 minutes of this episode, I turned it off. How many times are they going to beat the storyline to death about someone ends up on Mongol, they get caught, and Flash has to rescue them? Personally, I would have just let Joe be killed and been done with him. I also can't figure out why Zarkov doesn't keep his doors locked and all of the "toys" properly locked in a safe place. The show has become boring and repetitive, but then again, so has most of what's on SciFi these days... Hopefully this show doesn't get renewed.moreless

    Joe is bitter that he lost his job. He does everything he can to prove that he didn't imagine anything that he saw on mongo. He decides to steal a rift blaster from Zarkov and go to Mongo himself to take pictures of everything that he can see. But he runs into trouble when he gets arrested by patriots. Joe is taken to Nascent city where he gets subjected to experiments by Ming. It's a fun episode to watch, everything were done just right. The actors really looked funny. The story was funny. The climax were done in a way that didn't look too silly. It was fun to watch.moreless
