    At least the commercials were entertaining! It is almost like the Executives at SciFi recieved a bad shipment of Organic Mushrooms and created this show in the recovery period! Let's hope they get well, Quickly! It's like that product in the store that everyone wants, but never seems to be in stock. The customer is always asking for it. There is some manager tucked away in a dingy office with no windows scratching his or her thining hair line on what order up for SciFriday! I apologize for the disgruntaled analogy. I say stand up. Get out of the ricky old chair and open the Door!!! Walk up to the SciFriDay Customer and ask them what they want? Throw away that out dated neilson spreadsheet!!!

    The Sad thing is the Product was already there!Just re-stock the shelves! Don't replace it with this Generic Low Fat Substitute!!!

    I feel sorry for the actors. I honestly think they try their best but with the material that's written for them, they can only for other writers.

    The moment Joe started to discuss his adventures from last week's episode it was obvious which way this would go. Naturally they were going to call on Dale and obvisouly she would not support him, making him loose his badge, making her feel guilty and sad and in need of comforting, by Flash of course. I thought this storyline was extremely weak and in insult to the characters as portrayed previously. Joe is a good cop, he would know better than to talk about this. It's obvious the writers needed a ploy to drive Dale into Flash' arms.

    The war storyline was only slightly better. It's a sad state of affairs when the episode highlight is the comedy provided by Baylin and Nick flirting, which, admittedly, was very funny and saved this episode from an even lower score.moreless

    Man this was a terrible episode so cheesy and so cliche it was an incredible journey through bad. First off a blue woman who is clearly modeled after the Gould from Stargate SG1. Wants to start a war with the Dactyl. Also once again we have a stupid catalyst to start things off with a jump into a portal to keep it from the mail lady. Also a badly scripted story of Balen hooking up with Flashes friend. It was just a silly episode with Ming hooking up with the blue lady in a passionate kiss to give us the apex of cheesyness to end this awful episode. I don't want to say the show has jumped the shark since the show is already pretty bad but I have to say more episodes like this and it may be the end of the show.moreless

    Dr. Zarkov figures out a way to open a right between earth and mongo without waiting for one to appear from mongo. when he tests a rift opening, trouble comes when a mailman comes to his door. his only way of closing it is for him and flash to walk through the rift. when they walk through it, they realize that they've walked into a battle between two rival races. Joe thinks he's doing his country a good favor by reporting to his superior about everything he's seen at mongo. it's a really exciting episode, the mongo scenes looked adventurous and humorous at the same time.moreless

    The sole reason I gave this episode a "filler" classification is we needed an excuse for ridding the character of Joe, as he was not in the original Flash movie nor the comic strips. As for story, apart from minor mishaps mentioned in other reviews (Goa'uld ripp off for starters), it is a nice filler episode that may as well show us the start of a war between two tribes. About the acting, keeping in mind that past roles have been poorly portrayed due to their nature (honestly, who would voluntarily want to play a vultan? :-P), there was an noticeable effort in these parts. Oh, and Flash was once again resourceful and Ming's character shows us what an old-school cruel and evil is all about. I say, give this show a chance to bring us old school adventures in todays contemporary lack of misadventures.moreless
