I'm going to need to watch it at least two more times, but I did notice:

    1. An ad for Oceanic Air

    2. A very quick billboard for Desperate Housewives

I'm sure there are more little easter eggs in that episode.

Yeah I saw the one for Oceanic Airlines, I believe it was during their stakeout waiting for the terrorists to come out.

Yeah, just noticed the Oceanic Ad, in mid episode. Plus the LOST crew. LOL, is this a LOST spinoff?

Interestingly at the top of the Oceanic billboard it says "Perfect Safety Record" which is odd. At first I thought this meant that the show was set before Lost but then they mention it is 2009 so what the hell? Maybe it is a parallel universe? Or maybe it is a hint about how Lost will end, in other words the next season of Lost will see that the Oceanic flight will land safely and everything will be undone.

Or it could just be a funny reference to lost, but no that could never happen. Maybe it's in another universe! Yeah, you know what it is another universe. ANOTHER SHOW! It's just a freaking poster man, don't take it so seriously.

There's an ABC ad on youtube for oceanic airlines that claims it has a perfect safety record, so its matching that.

I did see the billboard for Desperate Housewives and I think they just put Perfect Safety Record because its supposed to be funny. Don't take it so serious.

I didn't notice the ad while I was watching the first time, but will keep an eye out the second time.

I think people are reading too much into the billboard. FlashForward is supposed to be set in the real world, and that billboard shows current advertising for the final season of Lost. I think this just grounds it in our world, as well as some free plugs for the show. You might as well ask if the Desperate Housewives will show up too. It's just a billboard for the new seasons which corresponds to current ads and viral videos.

Great show though, and my wife and I both really enjoyed it. The only real question left is: When is episode 2??

I agree, people are reading way to much into that billboard and all. This show has nothing to do with Lost. It's not in the same world or anything. Seeing people speculate about what's going to happen in this show because of what happens in Lost is comical. They have nothing in common outside of ABC promoting this to be Lost's replacement show. That's it.

Oceanic Air is one of those companies that will show up all the time in TV shows and Movies, just like Cage Whitney showed up in both West Wing, Studio 60 and 24. It's become an almost iconic 'brand'. Think the placing of the billboard is nothing more than just a shout-out to Lost fans, as well as a 'subtle' piece of advertising.
