Normally it wouldn't be. It's just that "Baby Daddy" in itself has a few other meanings slang wise (in Manhattan atleast) so I was pointing out in my original post that seeing the title of this topic didn't get across the message of what it was really about to me properly.

I was just making a general statement though.

I agree, it all points to him being the father. They will get closer during the investigation leading to a relationship.

I anm tempted by the rape theory, she seems totally comfortable with her sexuality and as she hasn't been with a man since high school (presuming she's telling the truth) she probably isn't bi-sexual.

SHE IS GAY and told her "friend" that she is NOT bi-sexual. I am thinking now that she has found out that she MAY not be able to have a baby that she is going to get implanted and see if she can or NOT...My guess it will be soon if in April she is 6 months pregnant - pretty much means NOW.

She can't be raped, she is a black belt karate fighter.

    I bet on Demitri.

Sperm bank is logical but weird, not realistic.

^^ Why would a sperm bank not be realistic? It happens all the time, especially with lesbian couples.

My co-worker and I were talking about this last week. My theory was that the shooting will be the trigger for Janis wanting a baby. She almost died and will realize that she doesn't want to go through the rest of her life alone. She was totally distraught when she was told it will be almost impossible for her to have a baby. She had no desire to have a baby in the past, but now it's constantly on her mind and the possibilty of never having a child is all of a sudden the worst news.

Why not just change the future altogether? Why try to have a baby to fulfil your flashforward? It would seem unreaslitic that people who know their flashforward will be in the exact same situation at that time in the future.

Because now that she realizes that she may have lost the ability to have a child, she will now pursue every effort to have one.

Circumstances prior to what they have seen in their flashforward could put them very well into the same situation they foresaw. If they saw the full six months then it can be assessed that it would be truly unrealistic.

Its true that knowing that knowing the circumstances they will try to change it as much possible. Like Mark knows 2 gunmen came after him, but he also knows that his boss is on the can and one of his colleague is working late at the very same office. I cant believe he will let 2 gunmen come for him when he knows 2 people who already showed they know how to handle a gun are int he building and will not ask for their back up knowing this.

But to come back to Janis, Im I the only one who picked up she said she was 17 weeks pregnant in her FlashForward? So she will fall pregnant a little after Christmas. Show seems to follow the same schedule as ours, so it didn't happen yet.

Great catch regarding Janis FlashForward. Although she looked quite large for only 17 weeks. (I am a mom but I had tiny babies so most normal looking, large baby bellies look really big to me) It really concinces me that the shooting will be the catalyst for the pregnancy.

From last night's episode - it looks like it would be "the sperm bank" unless she was just researching it???? That would make sense of it all, she trys to see if she can get pregnant because of the surgery and then when she does, that is why she is crying - because it is a miracle.

This is almost official confirmation that it's going to be a Sperm Bank; I was right all along.

Haha... yeah, a general statement as a punctuation and grammar policeman. Sheesh. This is a message board dude, not a New York Times article.
