      • Murray: There's something I wanted to talk to you about actually, Jemaine. Uhhmmm, it's not good news. Planet Jemaine...Supernova'ed. Yeah, there's nothing left of it apparently, just a huge gaseous cloud and the beginnings of a black hole.
        Jemaine: When did this happen?
Murray: Uh, about four million years ago.

      • Jemaine: Listen guys, I've gotta go.
        Bret: Where?
Jemaine: Out. No where. No out.
        Murray: You're going nowhere?!
Jemaine: I'm going on a date.
Murray: Oh ok. Bachelor life now, eh? Watch out ladies!
        Bret: Who with?
        Jemaine: No one.
Murray: No one? That's not a date. Thats just going out. I do that all the time. Do you wanna go for a walk?

      • Jemaine: The next thing you know we're in the bathroom brushing our teeth
That's all part of it, that's foreplay.
Foreplay is very important in love making.
Then you go sort out the recycling
Which isn't part of the foreplay, but it's still very important.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Watership Down

After Bret's nautical reference in his birthday song for Sally, Dave explains to Bret how women love this movie despite not having seen it himself.

      • Judy Bailey

Bret relates how he had told everyone at school that the round hickey on Jemaine's neck was really from a vacuum cleaner, not Judy Bailey. Judy Bailey is a former Television New Zealand long time network newsreader and when Jemaine was at school would likely have been in her late thirties. Bailey is also frequently called "Mother of the Nation."
