Show Summary

Flipped is a reality series that originally aired on MTV from August 6, 2001 to August 14, 2002. The series consists of 19 one-hour episodes that were broadcast on Wednesday at 10:30 pm. Arnold Shapiro is the executive producer and writer, and Allison Grodner is the producer. Each episode features two or more people who experience someone else's life. The first episode involves an identity switch between a mother and daughter. The daughter must go to work, while the mother attends high school. The next episode features four drug users, who experience the consequences of their addictions, such as living in a homeless shelter and juvenile detention. The third episode shows two bullies who get picked on during their day at school. The next episode includes a thin woman wearing a suit that makes her appear fat. A man with homophobia witnesses a friend being attacked. A couple trades places to learn what life is like for the other gender in the next episode.
